It wouldn't surprise me if Oduwa was involved in the first team at some point this season. I said a while back that he was one of about 6/7 who should be on the periphery of the squad with the likes of Winks and Onomah. We aren't exactly spoilt for choice when it comes to wide options.

Oduwa has impressed me a lot in these highlight videos- he seems to have that beautiful combination of strength and pace.

He seemed to link up well will Rose. I look forward to seeing how he does against the MLS All stars and in the Audi cup.

Maybe he could be this year's Mason, coming from nowhere (other than to those of us who follow this thread and the youth teams in general, obviously!) and getting a shot after impressing in pre-season friendlies.

I just hoped he has impressed more than Ceballos and Falque who both also looked decent last year. Fear he is just making up the numbers while Pritchard is out, though hopefully he would have shown enough of his all round game to earn that chance.

He, Rose and Onomah, seem to be linking up well.

Watched the highlights of the Reading game and was so impressed with those three, in particular the passing and build up play for the Townsend chance.

I do like Oduwa, really showing confidence in his play. Rose seems to like have a good understanding with him, like his goal against Southend and the way Oduwa created space and delivered the pass was impressive stuff.

Have we got the highlights of the second game they played (not the spurs x1).

What position was chadli playing the last game? Seemed almost to be a cm or on the right. Couldn't really tell from the highlights.

Well impressed by what Oduwa has been doing pre season on the left. He's looking very strong and skilful, it would be great if we had another youth player come in and compete for places.

it's immediately evident that he has so much more game than walker and yedlin. only thing he needs to copy from them is their diet and gym regime.

I agree he needs to bulk-up, evident when he came on in the post season trip that he was easy to bully at the moment.
He could be one that going out on loan to toughen up might help. We are pretty well covered in his position.

KWP should go on loan to develop. He's nowhere near the 1st team yet as we have loads of cover at RB. Oduwa on the other hand looks ready for the cup games at least.
