Quite possibly, but Zokora was a completely different player in the second half—again.

Perhaps we should play 3 at the back in every game because Zokora comeas alive then and he didn't put a foot wrong in the second half and made numerous tackles.

He also has a spectacularly good conversion rate in the league. His accuracy has been poor, but he's put three of his four on-target efforts into the back of the net. You can't ask for better than that.

Also, Chimbonda and Dawson were awful in the first half. Obviously the midfield never helped. But then they have to stop relying on them. If that were Arsenal or Man Utd we could have easily been 3 or 4 goals down.

Also, we were very fortunate that the linesmen were so easily swayed by our calls of offsides. There were definitely a few wrong calls that could have quite easily lead to conceding.

I was impressed by Bent. These are the attributes he brings to the team:

- Much better off-the-ball movement than our other strikers
- Better finisher than our other strikers
- Doesn't have the technical ability of Keane and Berbatov but he makes up for it with intelligent use of the ball by knowing when to be selfish and shoot or when to pick out a better placed teammate.
- Good link up play
- Good mix of speed and strength

He is one of my favorite players

In all fairness he gave one or two harsh ones against us as well. There was also one when Lee almost conceded the penalty which was blatantly offside but wasn't given. The linesmen were just poor in geneneral.

Are you arrogantly suggesting that we're good enough to win with 10 men?

EDIT: Gah, bastard ^^

theres no need to get complacent. We will struggle playing the whole game with 10 men even if its just Birmingham

Jenas needs to sort his hair out. I don't care if it is a bet.

No doubt. But there were a few occasions when their forward had beaten Dawson's attempted trap only to be ruled, unfairly, offside. If the linesman had got it right then we would've been in quite a dangerous position.

Yeah that's true. There was one at 0-1 where Keane was miles onside and called off, but having said that he shot wide anyway. Dawson was terrible in the first half, he just went walkabouts. And there was one point in the second half where I was screaming at him to close down the Aalborg player before he shot (wide, luckily). He was just standing off him hoping someone else would cover.

Also, I think if the linesmen were English (haha. wait for this...) they'd probably be better at following English football and therefore wouldn't have muffed up so much.

Ah... Absurdity. Definitely going to get neg repped for this! ;)
