It's back to cup action for us at the beginning of Juande Ramos' reign as Spurs Head Coach. To everyone going tonight sing loud and sing proud and let the new coach know what makes our club so special us the fans.
The Official Site Team News:
Paul Robinson and Jermaine Jenas are in the frame for tonight's Carling Cup tie against Blackpool at the Lane.
Goalkeeper Robbo has missed the games against Newcastle, Getafe and Blackburn with a calf injury while a tight hamstring kept JJ sidelined for Getafe and Blackburn.
Gareth Bale (foot) and Anthony Gardner (ankle) remain out alongside Ledley King, Benoit Assou-Ekotto (both knee) and Ricardo Rocha (ankle).
Skysports.com Preview:
Juande Ramos takes charge of his first Tottenham Hotspur game as Blackpool visit White Hart Lane in the fourth round of the Carling Cup.
The Spaniard was presented to the media on Tuesday after being appointed as Martin Jol's replacement over the weekend.
The former Sevilla coach will be expected to make a winning start to his reign, with Spurs having won more cup games than league fixtures so far this season.
Ramos is expected to deploy a 4-4-2 formation against Blackpool, and it is a case of trying to second-guess his line-up.
Gareth Bale remains injured, so Lee Young-pyo and Steed Malbranque could form the left-hand side of the field.
Ledley King, Anthony Gardner and Ricardo Rocha are injured, so the centre-half pairing of Younes Kaboul and Michael Dawson pretty much picks itself.
Paul Robinson is back in training after a calf problem and Spurs' No.1 could be recalled in goal in place of Radek Cerny.
Jermaine Jenas is also in contention and will vie with Didier Zokora and Tom Huddlestone for a central midfield berth.
Blackpool head to North London having already won at top-flight opposition this season after knocking out Derby County on penalties in the second round.
Manager Simon Grayson is hoping that Michael Jackson and Andy Morrell will be fit to lend their experience to the club's bid to pull off a shock.
Jackson has been struggling with a stomach strain, while top scorer Morrell has a back complaint.
Striker Ben Burgess is out with an ankle injury and midfielder Keith Southern is a major doubt with a swollen ankle.
