Hudd is immense
Pav is quality
Fraiz is quality
Gomes is a useless ****
Bale is a joke

What??? Bale had a good game tonight bar his dubious tackle. And although Gomes was poor no need to speak about him like that. He's a Spurs player and we should show him support when he plays.

This is true.

However, a few points of clarification needed: Bale was good going forward, but looked out of his depth at the back. O'Hara constantly bailed him out, which is part of his job, but Bale really struggled defensively tonight - despite his bombardier runs up the left.

Gomes will have not needed tonight.

Still undecided on him, but I'm really really leaning towards "woops".

Corluka had a quality game tonight. And well played Dawson, still tries his Hollywood balls too often but he was solid.

I would say that 4-2 flattered Liverpool. If we could have found the final ball a bit more often then we would have scored more.

Good to see Boateng get a few minutes although i'm not sure if Harry will be too impressed with his showboating.

A good performance today though but we just cannot do things easily. I couldn't get excited about being 3-0 up at half time as being Tottenham you just knew we would let them back into the game.

Thought O'Hara and Zoko had positive games as well.

Zokora was bloody awesome tonight, how many times I said great tackle didi I lost count. Huddlestone again showed how good he can be and Dawson had a solid game at the back.

Our 3 strikers have scored 18 goals so far this season, I don't think we need any new strikers come January.

Pavlyuchenko again had a good performance, some great little flick on's holding up the ball and two proper strikers goals.

Hope we make Campbell permanent, he's gonna be an awesome player.

Phil Thompsons face and subsequent back tracking over the Bale tackle was classic.
"Yes, he did get something on the ball, but it should have been a pen."

WTF?! :)

Bale was terrible. He got lucky that his studs touched the ball for their penalty decision. He also tried to nutmeg a player on the half way line with no cover. In his defence he put in a couple of good crosses and a couple of nice passes.

But defensively, he is an even bigger liability than BAE!

True defensively he was suspect but I think he is defensively suspect in general not just this game. But recently he's been poor going forward as well more or less making him pointless. But today he was good going forward and looked to be regaining some form and sharpness.

Agreed.

But it worries me that he's always been a bit suspect at the back. Is he just not a left back? Who knows?

Anyway, time to watch Chloe Everton on "You're On Sky Sports". Yum.

Huddlestone's starting to look absolutely immense. I still think he needs to take on the shot more, because we all know what he's capable of. Great performances from most of the team. My only gripe apart from Gomez, is Bale. Why he was played at LB with O'Hara at LM, I'm not too sure. The other way round would have surely been the better option.

Gomes. What a rubbish goalkeeper.

Hope he enjoys his chinese. The kick in the mouth situation was his best action in the game.

Apart from that, we were fucking brilliant.

Aye. The ref must have just spotted the ball change direction. I have to admit, my heart sunk. I was waiting for Skeleton to point to the spot.

Poor bloke, with fans like this who needs enemies.:-|

I agree he wasn't to impressive but he took that knock out kick for the team and that to me made up for one of his blunders.

I actually thought O'Hara left him isolated at times, caught too far infield which left Bale exposed 2 against 1 on quite a few occasions.

The link-up play between Pav and Campbell was fucking beautiful to watch. They actually look like they're on their way to having the awareness that Berba and Keane had, and they've only been together for 2 months, and played what - 2, 3 games together?

I must admit, I was a bit scared when we couldn't score for shit earlier in the season, but 18 goals in 6 games... brilliant!

Campbell looked happy enough when being interviewed for MOM after the game by Sky. I wonder if Redknapp sees a future for him? He's our type of player and it'll be a sin to see him polished and returned to Man Utd.
