Who was that captaining our side tonight, and what has he done with Michael Dawson?

He looked full of confidence tonight and performed as well as any other player for us tonight in what he did, marshalling the defence and shape from the back as well as I have seen for years. Dare I say (apart from Gomes) we looked almost organised? Eek

Another very encouraging game, Lennon is still gunning for player of the season, Pav and Camps looked good together, Hudd was immense and watching Benitez being humbled again as opposed to Harry's interview ending with maybe going for a chinese with Gomes was a pleasure to behold. I just wonder what the score could have been if Modric had started! Meh, I'm just being greedy.

They also said this was a manager's best start for 110 years as a Spurs manager to which Harry replied 'How long did he last?', great stuff, both the comment and the record.

I know the job's not done yet but who would have thought it a few weeks ago? The only thing we need to be careful of is not having to out score the other team each week.

Yeah we are making up for all those games where we couldn't hit a barn door.

It's funny. I'm starting to think we really don't need to add anybody in January with the way the lads have responded to Harry. I wouldn't mind a CB to be safe, but we can make due. However I am starting to feel that we will have to replace Gomes. How can any of our defenders have an ounce of faith in him. It's too bad as he seemed like he had the potential

Poor bloke, with fans like this who needs enemies.:-|

I agree he wasn't to impressive but he took that knock out kick for the team and that to me made up for one of his blunders.

dude, I mean the block he made, not the actual kick in the mouth. I wouldn't wish that on their keeper!

put it out of your mind fazza, as harry said, "i can see why alex wont sell him" or make it permanent.

Oh well, Arshavin will have to do as backup forward then if we get injuries, O'hara then ledt wing if needed.

I wonder if Campbell is going to like playing under Harry so much that he wants to move here. I hope so because the kid works like a horse. And I would love to steal him from Drunky McDrunk

I still think we need a quality DM, perhaps Corluka can do this though? I certainly think we should give him a shot before spending £15m+ Because even though we've got a win in the league against Liverpool and a draw against the scum our midfield were totally overrun.

Just Imagine Fergies red alcoholic face bursting with anger if Frazier does say he wants to stay down south, would love to be a fly on the wall.

He might do you know, he's not exactly gonna get ahead of Rooney, Ronaldo, Berbatov and Tevez, is he

Tevez isn't guaranteed a place yet as he's still officially on loan. If Tevez has to go then Campbell steps up as fourth striker, Finishing School courtesy of THFC.

I would think if Tevez's deal is finalized we have a chance, otherwise Campbell would have a future at United.

Someone suggested Bale should play left wing but I disagree strongly. Have never seen him have a good game at left wing, he's just not a winger. He just needs to work on his defensive play and he'll be a good left back.

Chelski should be out but Burnley player blasts over!

I don't think FC will make it at Man U, not saying that they will sell him to us but I very much doubt he will ever get much game time at Man U. I could be wrong but that's my opinion on what i've seen of him so far.

Chelski out, bet we get Arsenal away in the next round. They seem to get nice home draws in this cup.

So now just Arsenal and Man U left who you wouldn't wanna draw in the Quarter's. Burnley in Quarters, Man U in Semi, then Le Arse in final......

Another defeat at the Bridge, this is a topsy turvy year.

Only the treble for Chelsea now remaining !

Well, no repeat of last year's final, then.

I'm probably one of the few on SC who can remember when Chelsea beating Burnley would have been a real turn-up.

We will just have to beat someone else now in the final, as for we want next, bring on Man U or Arse, i'd fancy our chances against there reserves, I can see us winning this again you know, would not suprise me one bit.
