O'Hara has been rested, not dropped. Guaranteed.

But would he have kept his place ahead of JJ even had he been fresh? More likely he was in competition with boateng for the spot on the bench i reckon. Zokora certainly has more competition on his return...

Hope comolli kicks the boot for signing Bent.
No disrespect to Bent hes a good player but not as good as the other 3 we already have.

Wouldnt be shocked if he left next month, Unless he is injured then that explains it but if not Mr Ramos dosnt rate him.

And Ramos knows good players

O'Hara has been left out. Same as being dropped but he is only a first team reserve player.

I think he's being rested. He would have certainly got a place on the bench ahead of Boateng or Taarabt if he had been dropped from the full team, as those two are only reserve players as well.

Scouting management will be very happy as Ciise is finally starting a game for Reading...

Wonder if Bent is injured - I wouldn't be sad to sell him on in Jan and perhaps buy a more understudyesque (is that a word?) 6' understudy - such as Kitson which is mentioned on another thread!

Well.

Ramos lost the plot a bit in this game. You play Jenas and Boateng in the middle when fit. I couldn't believe he took a fit King off. Unreal game.

What a weird game. I don't take much out of it except that Berbs is amazing. Hudd is not good for our defense, which I've said before. Defoe prob deserves a start though I still think Keane's movement and link up with Berbatov is top drawer stuff. Also Berbatov prob deserves to be our penalty taker, but I feel bad for Keane, he used to never miss...

did berbatov score??? haha Well I can honestly say he has either added a little more to his price tag with that or has indicated that he is enjoying playing for the yids.

There's so much to say about that game. If one likes to put a positive spin on things, lots of negatives, and if you like to put a negative spin on things, plenty of positives. No-one could have seen a scoreline like that.

I feel a little sorry for Reading, to be fair. Twice they've scored four goals in a game and still lost. Not too sorry of course.

As for Berbs. Fantastic! Hopefully, he'll have got his eye back in, and he'll start banging them in again. Worried about Keane though. Gone a bit dry. I hesitate to say it, but perhaps he needs a break from first team action in favour of Defoe. Defoe's scored in three of the last four, so perhaps a runout is on the cards?

Huddlestone again was at fault for couple of their goals. Robinson has gone from 'Blobinson' to 'Flapinson'. Even since he has gained form, I have not had faith in him: a) coming for crosses and b: defending corners.

I cannot wait for Hansen's analysis of the game this evening on MOTD.
