1) Amazing stuff at HT from Poch. Makes me wonder do we not do our homework before the game and set up right?
2) Verts. Wow. Beta LB at the club. League?
3) Winks/Sissoko. Wow.
4) Can’t wait for Kane and Dele to come back. What a front four we will have

Fantastic few years for our club. Hope we build and continue to grow in the summer. 1/2/3 excellent signings and we can seriously push for the title next year

Poch.
Beat Burnley in our next game and we're 2 points off the top...

What a fcking fantastic night!

Well proud of em all, but just three words for that inspired second half 'Super Jan Vertonghen'. Fcking immense, he's a better LB, than our LBs.

Only HT though, and these results can make it difficult for teams to know exactly how to play the second legs.........but amazing result

In answering your first point, you don't know for sure how the game is going to pan in out until it gets going.

You can plan and prepare for what to expect but it's a fluid process that requires adapting as the game plays out, which Poch certainly did.

Thought Eriksen was immense second half. He totally dictated the tempo dropping deeper to escape Witsel & co, who nullified him first half, knitting play together.

Alongside Winks’ ball retention & Mousa’s phenomenal energy, we bossed the midfield 2nd half and they really couldn’t live with us.

You'd think I'd learn not to doubt players after Sissoko but Fernando has proven once again what an utter **** I am. Amazing game by all.

The beauty of that win is it showd the players have learnt and are stepping over barriers.

Think about the big results over the last 18 months or so.
Tonight (ko game)
Madrid home and away
Juve away
Barca away
Inter home (last minute)

The players are gaining valuable know how and belief that under any circumstances they can still grind it out. It's imcredible to see it all developing. This is the new Tottenham!!

I've rarely seen a player have 2 more contrasting halves than Sancho. Scary good in the first 45 and totally invisible 2nd half. Great tweak from Poch but Sancho went missing quite spectacularly.

Absolutely. Mustard 1st half, I reckon he touched the ball 4 times second half.

Easy to happen at that age. To be fair they all dropped a few levels, if i were Dortmund manager I’d be more disappointed at the senior players.

So:

WHAT DID POCHETTINO SAY?

There was no change of formation, only pulling the wingbacks in a bit. But Sancho was totally neutralised and Dortmund scarcely got a sniff. We totally dominated the second half, from start to finish, and the 3-0 scoreline flatters us not one bit.

I mean, this isn't fuckin' Huddersfield. We just absolutely murdered the leaders of the Bundesliga.

It was an wonderful, enthralling football match, even the parts where we were under the cosh.

MotM , by several miles, Jan Vertonghen. He's the best left back we have ;).
This post is full of opinions. I don't come to SpursCommunity to read this sort of subjective tosh, which hasn't even been peer-reviewed and backed up by tests conducted under double-blind conditions. Please retract immediately.

Not seen it mentioned yet but I think the ref was superb tonight. Let the game flow and always looking to play the advantage.
