Can we not post these big images that are clearly taken by pro's at the game that will have copyright on them.

If the club have posted the image on twitter or facebook, make sure to embed that as we can share them that way

Thanks

Jose on brighton goal

“I have to try and stay away from this. I don’t know what to say at the moment. My opinion is that I miss my old football, but with goal-line technology because it is obvious that it helps the game."

I prefer to stay away [from VAR]. Probably the referee should go to the press conference and explain. He had time to go to the screen so only he can explain why it is a goal. He is a good ref and a good guy, only he can explain that decision. My view doesn't matter.

BAAAALE!

We look good when we need to. 3 big chances in 5 minutes and Brighton not had a chance other than the foul.
This is it. We looked on top. Scored and immediately dropped deeper and deeper. We keep doing it. Until we concede. Then its back in their goal area within 5mins trying to score.
I do not believe the players are doing this of their own accord but being instructed to take the foot off the gas once in front and try to nick another on the counter.
Why would you do that against a team down the bottom?
Very frustrating.q

Another ugly win. Doherty was guilty of fouling in the box, lucky, we got away with it. The good side of it is we are up to second. Great to see Bale score again for us. COYS!!!!.

We give them the ball so we can counter them, against the better teams who will attack us naturally it'll be a different game
We don't exactly 'give' them the ball, it's just that when we receive the ball we are usually facing our own goal or the opposition have 3 players around one of ours. Therefore we are forced into giving it away, make a sloppy pass or pass into a space hoping some one is there.

I'm happy for us to not always dominate possession to get those counter attacks going but in days like today you need a variation. We were having a real hard time even finding the channels or get Kane in a good area to dictate.

That's when you need your midfield to just wrestle a bit of control back and play through the press.

Not every game will be like Southampton, West Ham or United in which we had counter attack after counter attack. Some teams will stop us from getting our heads up and we need to be prepared for it.

Its not me disliking this team or complaining, it's just a weakness of ours that I feel will prevent us from being champions.

Brighton got a ridiculous decision today, Newcastle too - it'll only take one of those and a game in which we draw a blank for us to lose to a Leeds or Leicester.

I'm not comfortable with playing like that and losing as we have nothing to really change the game in terms of construction. We need another CM who can have a big effect on this.

I am definitely in the 'we won' camp and that is all that matters. I have seen so many gallant Spurs near misses I just want some luck and consistency. We (sounded) infuriating but won. I'll take that, what else matters. 3 points, second and a chance to push on.

Just wanted to say that this win is on my Daughter.
I was on the phone to her when Brighton scored. While I was ranting, she said that we would need to “manifest” the win, then started talking about how it was a hard fought but we’ll deserved Spurs win.

Say thank you to Levi folks...

She scares me sometimes...
RIght, volunteers to pay for Ion's phone bill from now till the end of the season form an orderly queue.

I’d really like to have seen Oliver skipp in there ahead of sissoko and winks. Seems to have a good engine on him, tidy player and combative- but that’s prob for another thread

The West Ham 8 minute debacle definately knocked the confidence out of us, but we've ground out wins against Burnley away, and a much improved Brighton.
Winning ugly is a good trait to have, and we've seen how good we can be when we hit form.

It's nerve wracking as hell, but as long as we keep getting the 3 points I couldn't care less.

Haven't actually given any thoughts on the game yet, but I actually thought we weren't tettible second half. Defended much better (shitty non-goal aside), created a few chances, and got the win.

I don't think we'll have too many games this year where Kane, Son and Ndombele are all sub-par, so I'm convinced we'll be better next game.

Been a very odd season so far - I’d say we played better against both Newcastle and West Ham yet we’ve won the games against Burnley and Brighton despite really not playing as well. From what I’ve seen of other games this season I reckon a lot of teams’ fans could make similar observations about their own teams.

Still, 2nd. Beat West Brom and we can go into the tough looking run with some confidence and momentum.

I wonder where we stand, points wise, since Jose took over. We won’t be far off 2nd in terms of points gained under his management. It can be hard to watch sometimes but the points are evidence that it is relatively successful. We haven’t actually given away many clear chances to opponents this season despite a lack of possession and sometimes seeming out of control.

Doherty was certainly in the seen them given category, but given the biggest howler by far went against us I don’t see how we were lucky
