Poch watches them train and thinks this is best. He has earned our respect and the players have earned our support.

Poch is blinkered where Dier is concerned. He's been shit for a while now.
If Poch thinks Sissoko is a footballer that's a worry.

That said even with those in the team it should be enough for Cardiff but I do genuinely wonder what anyone sees Sissoko bringing to any game.

I am going to go out on a limb and suggest that Poch is limiting Lamela's minutes right now - and might be trying to use this match to give minutes to Son to help find his form after a really awkward summer/early-fall.

I like the fact we have Lamela on the bench because we need one impact player who can come on and change the game. If Lamela starts we have nobody left on the bench who can do that.

To single out Son, yet say nothing about Hugo's performance smacks of someone looking for a scapegoat.


Fact was that the better team by a Country mile won, deserved to win, and fielded a team on that pitch that cost ove six hundred million pounds.

Reality hurts sometimes, but to single out one player speaks volumes for some in here and in general.
