I'll never understand the "if he's fit enough for the bench he's fit enough to start" mentality.

What's so difficult to understand about the fact that the medical staff may have deemed a player a risk to play 60+ minutes, but considerably less of a risk to play for 30? Lamela has, after all, suffered from countless muscle injuries over the years. We often manage Dembele in the same way.

I like the fact we have Lamela on the bench because we need one impact player who can come on and change the game. If Lamela starts we have nobody left on the bench who can do that.

You could play a fairly straightforward midfield 3 with Skipp in there instead of Sissoko. KWP not playing is absolute rubbish though

Dier needs to step up in midfield as well. I expect Sissoko to have a free role to maraud around which is what suits him best IMO.

But it’s not youth-for youths sake is it - they are talented players in their own right and you can’t tell me playing Skipp over Sissoko is a riskier play?

Same with KWP rotating with Trippier because, you know, that’s what Poch always used to do with full backs

He's one of our best players so far this season along with Moura. I may have started him and had Son on the bench. However I'm just happy one of them is on the bench because we may need that impact from the bench. Lamela has actually been the best impact player off the bench so I'm not going to complain.

Lamela was always going to be on the bench after cramping up Wednesday. But going 4231 with Sissoko? Ew. Go 433 with Skipp or 442 with Llorente at least.

Here is a novel idea for supporters try getting behind your club instead of being down on everyone and everything and try to create a positive mood instead of a negative mood.
Whatever the faults or errors it is doing no good for the team with this constant negativity from so called supporters I expect from the sky pundits ;who all have their own favourite team and all seem to have the same team they like to try to destableize.For myself at the final counting I don't care if all the current team or management leave I will always be a spurs SUPPORTER.
