Hoping for an atmosphere akin to City. Even more emotional due to the sad news. Hope the crowd is rocking and the lads feed off it.

I had already resigned myself to defeat and was perfectly content with life and now that starting line-up has given me hope and I'm ready to be hurt again

At least we're going for it. Not much width would be my concern, really need to press high to get Reguilon and Emerson advanced.

Expect to see Skipp & Gil introduced at some point, hopefully we get news on Stevie/Lucas time frame

I have many many doubts about Nuno, but fair play to him today. Actually going with a very attacking line up. With the exception of Dele on the wing (I’m assuming unless Gio is wide right) then I’m very happy with it. We just have to see how Nuno has them play tactically.

Not sure about Romero instead of an in form Sanchez but alas more of a positive Spurs team which I very much like.

One cause for some trepidation about that team is both GLC and Ndombele starting. We tried it a couple of times in Europe last season and it was awful. Hopefully that was due to other factors but I think Hojbjerg is going to have to have blinder in order for us to have much joy in midfield.

Seriously? Is this the time to drop Skipp and play just one holding midfielder, in front of such a fragile defense? Against Chelsea?
This smells of desperation and anger on Nuno's part. You want open attacking football? Get this XI and see how an opponent like Chelsea destroys us, then get off my back for good. We are losing this anyway.
It really is the exact right time. It is skipp or peh and peh is levels above skipp at the moment. 2 holding players is just not the way forward in the vast majority of games imo.

Decent looking team on paper.
Good to see the potential of creativity in midfield.
Gonna be tough whoever plays in the 11 today but I’m glad NES has gone the positive approach

That is one of the bravest 11's I could imagine vs this opposition, I won't lie it makes me nervous but I far prefer this approach to trying to cling on with Hojbjerg, Skipp, Winks. I hope this works out for Nuno because he's shown some tenacity to pick such a bold line up.

Okay, I actually like that lineup. I'd prefer a wide player instead of Dele but can't have it all. I've said it before and I'll say it again, if we can ever get the best out of them together then that midfield three is about as good and as balanced as it gets on paper.

Reckon it will be! Surprised at the kick off time especially for this fixture, plenty of drinking time!

Bold lineup. Pretty happy with that, now we just have to get behind them cos they are gonna need all the help they can get
