We could have scored another goal or two, but it was more important that our defence blunted and undermined their attack. There were few alarming moments. I am so worried about Kane's knee. He was really struggling on it after the clash - it's one of those where it could have just been impact, and if you've played the game you know those hurt for a while, but it could easily bruise up and swell badly.

Wish we'd pulled him straight after the second goal, especially the way those dirty bastards were tackling and our players were getting zero protection from the ref.

Agree. I think Jose will instruct the players to go for an early goal to deflate the opponents.

Thinking about DM for second leg. Obviously Sissoko is going to start there but without Hojbjerg on the bench we are a little light. Possibly if Sissoko needs replacing are we looking at Dier sitting in there? Or Tanganga?
