Why is stuff like this only released for Liverpool, what is so special about them?
This video and it being released sums up modern society. Everything has to be perfect, everything is overanalysed, everything is hyped up to the max, everything is overly emotional.

It was just a mistake and an incorrect decision. It’s happened before in football millions of times and it’ll happen again.

The whole thing is OTT and pathetic.

To be fair - this was not about Liverpool* - this was a major cock-up - but it was not corrupt. So PGMOL would have released this audio regardless of the team involved.

*Unless you are a Liverpool supporter, in which case everything is about Liverpool.

Surprised there isn't a picture of klopp with a Karen haircut and his glasses yet asking to speak to who ever is in charge.

If asking for it leads to structural changes to prevent stuff like this then Liverpool were right to ask for the recording.

However, it doesn't change that the tone of their original statement was genuinely insane and, honestly, Trumpesque.

But the premier league rejected the opportunity to use that automatic system from the World Cup? Think that might be revisited. Not even sure they got the “kick point” right, was all just an absolute cluster.

While part of me agrees, I am a bit concerned by Mark Clattenburg’s observation re the role of Oli Kohout (PGMOL Hub Ops), in all of this. Kohout was the one calling for the game to be stopped, but he is not a match official and should not be having any influence on the outcome.

Absolutely the way it should go for offside. See Hoijlund’s goal last night, disallowed, clear image, no fuss.

Its the entitlement that fucks me off the most:
1. They assume they have dropped points - they were down to 10 men and i think even if the goal stands we would have beaten them
2. Incorrect offsides and controversies have always happened in football just a different type of fuck up here, but the result / impact is exactly the same its just a goal ruled out that shouldn't have been - get over it -Happens every week in the football league for incorrect offsides

On VAR audio:
As there was an obvious lack of process, this was bound to happen at some point without following a basic rule book of communication. Shame it happened to Liverpool....

Just wondering how many signatures a petition asking that Liverpool be told to grow up and move on would get. Perhaps someone who is twitter savvy could start one and distribute it across social media.

Talk about a can of worms. It seems they know it isn't possible, but the framing is aimed at us and the FA doing the right thing. It's just a load of bollocks because people, whilst sympathetic when it happened, can see through the hypocrisy.

It’s been obvious from the start that they’ve been pushing for a replay, it’s why I haven’t been that relaxed about it being beyond the realms of possibility.

Klopp is such a sore loser.

I can see what you mean but honestly if they did replay it, it would cause absolute carnage compared to mess they made on Saturday.
