Probably the least convincing half under Ange so far, but we got a lot of calls and luck for once. Except for their goal because that wasn’t a foul

no idea how this ends, would like to think we will be much better second half, hopefully will make the man advantage count, but on the other hand their bench is scary and ours pretty underwhelming

Controversial but I think it’s because the quality of our front 3 is no where near theirs.

They look so threatening whereas ours look disjointed.

Kulu and Richy need to do far more for me, weakest area of our side.

We are missing Johnson.
I'm not sure how much more Kulusevski can do he's run himself into the ground so far, maybe he could less but get in the box.

I feel like I am watching a different game to some. I feel like we are playing well but obviously up against a better team than we have played so far. The atmosphere has been good too with the crowd loudly singing. We have made a few sloppy mistakes and Liverpool have countered us well.

Seriously? As opposed to Fulham?

Personally think we've been great.

The pundits keep going on about intent, it makes no odds with a tackle like that. Letter of the law is its red.
You can be sure if that tackle was reversed teeth wouldn't be saying it was just part of the game and there was no intent.

No shock Redknapp doesn’t think it’s a red.
Some half time trivia for you:

On Five Live last night, Michael Brown said that, during one training session at Spurs, Stephane Dalmat spat in Jamie Redknapp's face.

The way I saw that. We scored and thought “this is going to be easy” and we stopped doing what we were doing well which was press hard and create passing triangles around their midfield.

Ange will get them back to the basics and not take a 10 man Liverpool for granted, they are extremely dangerous on the counter.

If there's any hint the players were thinking that they need a real bollocking at half time. Liverpool turned it round against Newcastle and they can do it again. They have too many top forward players who just need a sniff and they'll punish you regardless of being a man down.

It's really dumb and they're reaching here. 99% of tackles are made without any intent to hurt or injure. Doesn't mean they can't be fouls.

Same with handballs. Players don't often intend to handle the ball or block with an arm, but it happens and you get penalised for it.
