Do you reckon they just now have a template statement and just insert the names of the teams playing at the end of each match? Seems they have to admit some kind of fuck up every week.

(Still hilariously funny though)

We've beaten Liverpool at home in a manner that will keep us just below the radar for a while longer.

Pretty cracking all round really. No need for the spotlight. Just get back to what we were doing next game and crack on now these two tough fixtures are in the rearview.

Klopp really is a cartoon character. If our player done a Jones foul on one of theirs he would be going mental and demanding a red.

Also worth pointing out to that 'we can't break down 9 men'. We actually did, sleep won 2-1. It wasn't perfect and there is lessons to learn from it but we broke them down and won.

Anyone fancy listing all the unlucky, unjust things that have gone against us over the years against Liverpool so I can be ready with my response when pool mates start moaning?

Ive got Sissoko’s handball and the Jota red card from last year, but have there been any other controversial decisions against us or just bad luck (eg. Tony’s last minute own goal, Lucas’s shit back pass etc.)

The only thing I worry about now with these incompetent refs, is them trying to ‘even things out.
It’s a never ending cycle of bad decisions.

I agree - though it could be that Lo Celso and/or Bryan do something over the next few months to claim that spot. History suggests they won't - but nothing about this squad will surprise me this season.
I think Lo Celso is done, Gil imo is a siffeeent story, it’s like the Modric situation when he came. He needs time to adjust to the physicality of the PL.

You sound like a Liverpool fan.
Or maybe I’m just someone who actually watched the game.
I’m over joyed we won and fuck Liverpool, they’d had enough rub of the green over the years but that doesn’t mean I can’t see what actually happened.

he’s not wrong. They had a goal disallowed that looked onside to me and just about everyone else. We couldn’t break down 9 men and got an OG. If I were Liverpool I’d be screwing.
Yeah but he could balance it out and say "but thats what winners do, they get results when they didnt really deserve".

But nope, thats only reserved for teams Redknapp loves

G.Nev making out it’s the end of the world “it was all too quick it’s not right” 😂 it’s just a bad decision from VAR, officials used to get offsides wrong all the time.

Shut up Gary 🥱 getting far too carried away this season.

Brilliant win and great to see Liverpool suffer.
I have to say though that I despise VAR. Get rid of it. It removes all the passion and fun from football.
