Fast forward twenty years and a group of dippers are hanging around outside parliament with signs saying 'justice for the Tottenham one.

Hooper didn't make a bad decision at all. At least no worse than any other ref. He wrongly carded Udogie and he wrongly carded Jota.

Difference is Udogie didn't make an insane automatic yelllw card tackle AFTER getting the first card.

The red card is red all day long.

Anyone complaining about their offside goal and VAR not intervening can fuck off as last season Jota kicked Skipp in the head and it wasn’t checked. Where is the outrage about that?

also MOTD the red card tackle looks “horrendous from that angle”… Well yes Nate, just because the TV camera angle in the first shot makes him loook unlucky doesn’t mean it’s any less of a horror tackle. **** weasels

Oof, the "human error" was that VAR thought the onfield decision was that Diaz was onside so they said "check complete" to confirm he was indeed onside... what a cluster fuck.

I would say Jota had a culmination of tackles though, plus should been sent off last year 🤣

Yes love a win with a bit of controversy, great teams make their own luck and we are starting to look like we may become one

The thing making me laugh is all the people saying scrap VAR when it was the lino that gave the goal offside anyway. Without VAR it still wouldnt have been given.
Indeed. If you have to resort to freeze frames and lines drawn across the pitch, how was it a clear and obvious error by the linesman?

It's seriously great tbh. Pretty much everywhere I'm seeing that not only didn't we deserve to win but ackshyually Spurs are proper shit and will get found out narratives are creeping in.

Love it tbh. Don't want us to become media darlings only for them to wait to pounce when a wobble occurs. The first season of a rebuild can do without that kind of guff.
