HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHA

I've looked at the footage several times and I couldn't tell if Udogie waved an imaginary card. He certainly put his arms up, as most players do when they keep getting fouled, but to go on about it ad nauseam gets right up my nose.

Liverpool are going to push for the game to be replayed. Can see it coming a mile off.

Now does anyone have 100% faith in the authorities that they wont make us play the game again?

It seems far too ridiculous for it to happen but I am not that convinced to tell you the truth.
it's not in the current laws and rules so won't happen and it would open up a really large can of worms regarding all games in future and previous ones.

lol i've seen it loads and he no way does the card gesture, he is raising his arm up basically saying wtf that was a foul ref. The desperation is amazing.

Just about to go to the gym and gonna wear a spurs top, never do it but I'm in the mood for potentially boiling some piss.

imagine if united had to replay every game in which they've had a contentious/wrong decision. they'd be booked up until the 22nd century.

I don't know why they persist with VAR. It is continuing with the same sort of errors of its own the Refs were making before it was introduced.

Remind me who Warnock played for?

VAR works 99% of the time and is good I think.

But human errors and interpretation of how it works is the issue.

Did Klopp shake hands with Ange afterwards? I only saw Ange start to walk in that direction then stop and give a thumbs up.

I suspect that is their thinking!

If they had won on Saturday this doesnt even get moaned about.

They would be out celebrating they overcame the corruption of VAR and spurs. And everyone should love them.

Only because they lost they cry like this.

I get the offside goal was a goal, I been thought that live as it went in that it was on side. But all the other shit is laughable.

Something that was weird in the stadium was that the checking goal for offside graphic stayed on the screen for ages after the game was restarted. I dont know who was in control of that, us or VAR, but it was strange. I suspect then they knew they had fucked up and were hoping it would be missed.

I'm still confused why it needs to be refs/ex refs in the Var box anyway other than it's jobs for the boys on retirement.

All you have to do in that job is know the laws inside out, and be good at analysing video footage. I also don't understand why we aren't recruiting the best refs from around the world to referee the most high profile league in the world.

Ive also never understood why we haven't employed the best foreign refs to come here and ref our games. Get them into the VAR room also. It's clear to me the English referees aren't up to it, well the majority at least.

Ref Watch on Skysports is discussing the issues in the game.
Diaz goal was onside. We all agree
Jones red card. Both Warnock and Smith say no red and blame the onscreen shot of the incident. Dermot overruled them and said watch the full incident.

warnock bleating on about a replay because Howard Webb did it before in America that was the funniest statement I heard all morning.

the fact remains had it happened the other way around the conversation would last about 30 seconds but because Liverpool play the victim card all the time we have an extended show.

Warnock says Udogie should have been red carded for waving the imaginary card……..Warnock says not a yellow and therefore not a red. He really is digging deep into the barrel to look for excuses.
Ahh the unbiased scouser Warnock lol

It won't be replayed. That will just open a whole can of worms. Other clubs who have historically had results go against them will also want their games replayed and It would just be impossible to rectify.

Part of being human means we seek perfection. What we are seeing are teething problems. If we decide that VAR is the future then this kind of shit will happen from time to time and we will all cry out that it "shouldn't" (but it will). Hopefully learn from this and produce a better outcome. Unfortunately there will be casualties along the way. This time its Liverpool. That's why it gets big headlines. If its Bournemouth (who, to me, have been on the end of a number of rubbish decisions) the response is less.

Acceptance is key. Accept there will be fuck ups. Accept your team at some point will be affected. We're human. That's the problem.

The alternative is to go back to what we had.
