Really quite cordial under the circs really.

I was expecting an entirely different Klopp response to the one we've had tbh.
He's one of the few from Liverpool that have conducted themselves well through this. I was hoping for him to spontaneously combust on live TV but he was very fair about it. Most disappointing.

Just heard a moronic liverpool fan saying Bissouma went down like a sack of spuds for the red card, christ what planet are they on, he was lucky he didn't break his leg. Hate liverpool more than ever after recent days.
They're unhinged. Getting shafted on the offside FUBAR has allowed their paranoia to run free and it's now the whole world against them on absolutely everything.

Quite a thing to witness tbh.

Well the PGMOL aren't going to hand over anything that shows it wasn't just a human communication error, not sure what Liverpool are hoping for tbh.
I think it's all just futile playing to their idiotic fanbase.

I've just rewatched the game Liverpool were good and we were very good, it's a real shame the actual match has been overshadowed by other things, hell of a game.

Agreed, in fact didn't we have one a season or two back where one of our players made a very similar challenge and either somehow escaped with a yellow but everyone including on here was "that should've been a red" it was either that or there was a red shown and the response was "yeah that's a red"
There was the Kane one on Robertson. I wonder if the same people who think he should have been sent off also think the Jones one is a yellow. I think the Kane one is a bit more borderline since its ankle height along the ground and not over the ball. It does make me laugh though when Redknapp says it's over the ball while the footage is being shown of it under the ball  I think that ones a case of in real time it's not actually late and its low enough. The Jones one is over the ball at shin height not ankle height. Not to forget Kane has had his ankle done multiple times with similar tackles that never got a red. Although they're bad ones when it does happen, if the ankle is ground height then the tackle isnt high enough for a red

It would be absolutely mental to sanction any replays. The first thing they would have to do is determine the statute of limitation, imagine if all the clubs didnt agree on that.
Exactly - I am really surprised that people are actually genuinely concerned.

They're not aiming for a replay. Jesus. The only replay comments came from a small group of people online. It was just your typical nonsense you get all the time on social media. Like the petition to replay the World Cup final.

I don't however know what Liverpool are trying to do and why they need the VAR footage. They're maybe trying to create some sort of narrative which allows them to flex their muscles in future to impact future decisions. It's what these clubs do. They make out they want to better the game and improve officiating but funny how they only do that when it goes against them. I've not seen this reaction from every other club who get bad decisions against them.

And another thing. Oh, please no, not another thing....

As a common or garden grass-roots youth trainer, Liverpool FC's nod and a wink grand-standing, their refusal to just accept a lousy decision and move on, is poison, the do-as-I-do not as-I-say opposite of every trainer's post match instructions to shake the referees hand and get over it, no matter what levels of ridiculousness have just occurred. And believe me.....

Good. I still don't see how anyone can say it wasn't a red but I thought they might get it rescinded as a sweetener.
