Klopp won’t get what he wants if completely fails to acknowledge or understand PGMOL’s perspective.

They might be more sympathetic to his replay request if he accepted that the red cards against Jones and Jota were fair and correct (Jones was harsh but not wrong). But instead he just says the referees got every decision against Liverpool wrong. Why would the refereeing body want to fix Klopp’s problem if he just paints them as the enemy who got everything wrong?

So he just comes across as a bellend even though he is the aggrieved party.

Liverpool, meanwhile, put out a stupid statement that also probably hindered rather than helped their chances of some recourse.

if you want someone to do something for you, it’s a good idea to be kind and respectful.

Exactly, would open up a bottomless can of worms and clubs would be scrutinising past decisions and demanding those games replayed where ‘injustice’ was supposedly served.

While we're at it let's have the game replayed when vertonghens goal was disslowed for offside despite running in his own half. But saying that if we won that game maybe we shouldn't add it to the list just yet...
