If we can hold on for the next 15 minutes I think city will get tired and our superior fitness will come to part

Lo Celso out wide could actually be a really good shout. Would make it harder to cut out Kane from getting on the ball, thered be another option and Son would still be running behind.

Aurier’s defensive work has been fantastic.

Oh f**k I’ve jinxed it. Penalty here we come.

If we keep out City in this game, I'll be shocked. So far we've done all we have had to - but I'm concerned that we are prepared to just sit back so deep. I get it that's how Jose plays against teams like City, but we need to look at doing something different 2nd half.

Not sure what Redknapp is on about, in what world is the handball decision harsh or confusing? It clearly hit his arm which took the ball into his path, that was a handball 10 years ago and it still is today.

Because Redknapp is a complete tool, always was when he was a Spurs player too. Can't believe he was ever our captain.

Great tactics and execution. Would like to see Moura on for Stevie. As much as i love Bale, Moura's defense and speed are more important. Do like the idea of Bale coming on eventually but not sure for who. But just his presence would create more space for the others and force the MC defenders back a few yards.

Just got back from taking my lad for a covid test so missed the first half. Cagey affair with them having all the ball and us defending well about sum it up?
Good luck with the Covid result. (For what it's worth, I tested positive last Sunday and, touch wood, my illness hasn't developed beyond a nasty dose of flu, despite me being 65, having a BMI>30, and high blood pressure.)

I don’t know what these lot are doing debating their goal, it was clear he wasn’t going to control the ball and bring it down without the use of his arm. He’s gained an advantage from using his arm which isn’t allowed.

I do feel city will score so I hope we can get a 2nd early in the 2nd half

Yeah, it's not the type of game 'this' Bale thrives in.

Maybe if the game is stretched later but if we are holding on to a lead it's just not the set up. 20 year old Bale, yes. Not this one though.

Really hope we have a larger lead by the time Sterling, Aguero and Foden potentially feature.

Very proud of the lads so far, hope they can keep it up. They're all putting in proper shifts.

Feels like we'll need one more goal to win this. Anyway, we've been playing really well. Can't fault the attitude or the tactics.

Hold on, laaaaaads!
