Let's face it, City are undoubtedly the 'measuring stick' by which all other Premiership clubs are currently rated against. Personally I am looking forward to the game as I think we are capable of making a real upset tonight and getting the three points. First goal will be crucial (awful cliche I know) but in this case a genuine one. City score first then the seeds of doubt are sewn but if we can nick one then it may just be the confidence booster needed to push on for a second. I just hope Lloris keeps a cool head because anything rash tonight and they will punish us big time.
COYS....let's grab third spot and push City down to fourth.(y)(y)

I think this squad is better than some give credit. Apart from the Liverpool game, they have proved their competence. The games we threw away were a tragedy - a couple of times of giving away silly goals. Had that not occurred, we would be sitting at the top of the EPL and comfortably heading for the EC KO stage. I think this point, for me, proves we can turn out a team to upset City. I am not saying we surely will but our chances should not be so quickly written off by the doubters.

Waiting for some wise old Gooner/Scouser to try and wade in with the whole "this is what Spurs' new stadium will be like after every NFL event'

People moaning about the pitch obviously can’t remember 20 years ago. That was a normal top division pitch.

Just get on with it and don’t make excuses. It looks flat enough to me.

Thing is, teams know exactly how to play us now. Get at us from the off, and we'll make a mistake or three!
No problem, it's when they go at us at the end that we have trouble.
Anyway stop worrying guys, we've got this.

Its one of those games where you have to execute for the full 95mins to win. Unfortunately this season we have mustered 20min spells here and their and so i cant see anything other than a defeat.
Although when the game starts i will be 100% behind the boys.
Will be very interesting to see the lineup for us. Id like to see eriksen lamela and moura behind kane. Id go for dembele and winks in cm? Will probably be dier though!

I'm not sure its the squad people are questioning but the players form. We have so many that aren't the players they were 12 months ago. I'm sure they will come good again but losing form together is shite for us fans to deal with.

If the proper Spurs of the previous 3 seasons turns up we've got a good chance of coming away with something. If they don't it could be a long night.

One of the reasons we don't sit top of the league is what you stated which is we always give away silly goals and shit ourselves when we have a chance to do something good.
Saying that I will be behind the team tonight hoping we don't lose to Qatar FC but at best I think it's a draw.

40 years back WHL was more sand than grass. Like a beach with the tide out.

Pitch looks ok to me?

The good thing about keeping the NFL markings is now commentators can be called out on their bullshit. "De Bruyne from 30 yards out..." "No, he's not, he's barely 20 yards out. We can see from the markings."
