I only watched the second half and we we are all over them. Our finIshing let us down as we hit everything at De Gea and made it very easy for him.

SIssoko injury is a massive, massive blow. Hopefully, Dier is back for our next game.

I hope Kane is okay, otherwise Llorente can’t be let go this transfer period.

That loss has ended any conceivable title talk and back in the dogfight for top 4. Going to be a tough run but we’ll be okay.

I didn't think United were that special. More we were poor in first half. They don't press half as well as Liverpool, City & Chelsea - which is what usually causes us problems.

Personally feel we need to be more brutal this summer with the squad if we are going to really challenge. Looking light!

Fingers crossed we can close the next few games off and beat Chelsea.

It was good enough from most of them we were superb. Dele and Particularly kane were below par In terms of their finishing and it cost us, simple as.

And kane has a lot of credit in the bank for one of those days.

As a team we were fantastic second half.

That’s just a cop out in my opinion. This isn’t the first time, we have fundamental issues in terms of being clinical in the vast majority of these huge pressurised games. I don’t know what the answer is but it was pretty obvious we weren’t going to score as we’ve seen it all before. Yes we played well to create all these efforts but it just is symbolic and one of the big reasons we are that notch below as a football team.

Second half of the season - with our schedule, players are going to breakdown at some point.

We haven't spent anything to accommodate that inevitability, so....

As fan, it's simply not rational to expect big things until we develop a squad that's able to deliver over a gruelling season in all comps, covering injuries, fatigue, international stints/departures, loss of form etc.

With what we have, a domestic cup would be a real blessing.

#perspective
I've been saying this for years but we repeatedly come up short when it comes to delivering on that front. It's the reason we keep being close but not close enough every time.

Kane
Lucas
Son
Dembele
Wanyama
Dier
Man-Beast

All perhaps missing now!
Good thing it's Jan and we'll be signing plenty of worldy talents as usual to step up

We lost to United with Young as RB and Jones as CB
Solskjaer who’s been their manager for 5 games at our “home”

Yes I’m embarrassed because we should beat them comfortably
No mention that we have the worst injury list in living memory? You don't think that plays a part as well? Despite that, we completely dominated them. They got LUCKY. You're embarrassed? You should be ashamed of yourself.

Don't keep going on about poor finishing the difference between winning and losing was the goal keeping, De Gea did his job and Loris should have done his. Personally Gazza should be given a PL run.

Walking out of Wembley feeling like this team is at a crossroads. We need investment. Too many of our key players look fatigued. No depth on the bench. Very little alternative to Plan A. Certainly not a title winning team. With Son flying off to Korea and if Kane and/or Sissoko are injured, then I can see us sliding back quickly. These games make Poch and Eriksen question why they should stay.

Sorry, but Jarrod Bowen or Jack Grealish ain't going to do it. If we are ambitious then we need to prove it. Otherwise, let's stop fooling ourselves that we are even competing to win titles. Sickened.

We didn't lose because of our full-backs. We lost because we set ourselves up ripe for the countering by the way we set up in the first half and poor finishing/good goalkeeping in the second half.. Could have had Walker and Rose playing at their peak and the issues would have been the same until we changed. It was the same against Liverpool earlier in the season.

Yep, that tactical naivety again. Davies sitting deeper in the second half made a massive difference IMO, don't know how it took so long to have at least one of the fullbacks sitting deeper to aid in counter attacks.

Thank god I didn't attend this game. What. A bunch of chokers.
Oh give it a fucking rest why don't you? Every time we lose or don't get a result you're in here ratting away with the legends and chokers thing, it's like you can't wait to throw it out there, if that's all you got you need to spend more time at your tellytubbies colouring book.

So if Kane is out that means we don't have Kane, Son (important because he would've replaced Kane upfront), Sissoko and Lucas. Worrying

Shooting boots eh some said. The lads took those shots the best they could under those circumstances. They couldn't have been better. Why was it so hard to give credit when it was due to De Gea.. He won them the match, that was the fact.

Our lack of squad depth is going to get a serious test now. Especially if Kane is injured too.

And Son going away too.

We’ll fall like a stone in the next few weeks if Harry is crocked. Harry Winks in midfield on his own with Llorente being fed by Lamela and Lucas!
