Mourinho “we didn’t deserve to lose” what the duck was he watching?
He always does this. He points to one single isolated thing that went against us to justify why we should have drawn or won, while ignoring all the things that went for us or that went against the opposition.

Well, much like the Newcastle game, that felt inevitable. It was rather predictable and a bit sad, actually.

Jose looks defeated. The players look jaded and out of sorts.

Granted, I know Jose is where the buck stops. But it’s still hard to see many of our players seem so indifferent.

Its really easy to just foist all the blame on the coach, but I hope they understand that they also hold some level of responsibility too.

So much of their play in the second half was tepid, sloppy and lacked urgency. Very low confidence. And not a huge deal of determination, either. Exactly the way they looked when things went pear shaped for Poch.

Esp disappointed with Son, Kane today. Yes, one scored. But for most of the game, they seemed to be playing within themselves.

Kane may want to leave. But, we still have games to play. Furthermore, he has to be realistic. Not many, if any can afford him this summer. And the club is well within their rights to ask for what they think he is worth... which starts at 150m.

Gonna be one our more meaningful off seasons this summer. I expect a sea change. And it will get ugly.

Which is why I support letting Jose go now. They need to at least get a head start on this overhaul. And if they are already committed to him leaving this summer, might as well bite the bullet now, as it is far too toxic. And he is the only element that can be altered at this juncture.

Now will be a big question around should they fire him, who do they bring in as a caretaker? Promote from within? Damned if I know.

The players aren't playing for him, no doubt about it.

BUt we really really need a clear out.

Dier, Winks, Dele, Sissoko, all terrible.

What is Levy thinking sitting up there? Bale on the bench and Sissoko and Moura ahead of him. Levy must be really crapping himself because we need to get rid of alot of player.
I’d always got the impression from time ago, that we’d build a training ground and apply an Ajax approach of bringing folk thru the ranks ... adding the odd diamond every now & then. So many different approach’s and projects that are never Seen to fruition: Ramos 5 year plan as example. Yea, I’m typing from a place of being pissed off, but Shirley a long term vision is required. Bye Jose btw

I am actually curious to know what's happening between Jose and Toby?

Me too. Whatever he did is bad enough for him to not be in the team but not so bad that he can't be on the bench.

If any players have really been disruptive behind the scenes then don't put them in the squad.

Really strange situation.

Don’t understand why Bale has been dropped again. One bad game against Arsenal and Jose’s slung him out with the dirty washing again after a great run of performances. Weird.

Just another weird aspect of a weird season.

For those who haven’t yet, it’s time to stop thinking about CL for next season, and you won’t feel that much aggro. Of course, it would be even better once Jose leaves too.

The thing that hurts the most about this is that it doesn’t hurt....well not much. Lockdown has a lot to answer for, one of the greatest joys in my life was being a season ticket holder with my son, going to lt’s for a few beers and a sing song before the game...and then going to the match...usually 10 mins late....I really want that back but I’m also really struggling to justify it......especially to the wife...???
