To those wondering where the goals will come from, we do have an 18 goals a season player in Dele.

He's had plenty of false dawns so I'm not going to get my hopes up too much, but if Nuno can figure out how to get the best out of him it's...

Good ball from Parrott, but Scarlett doesn't have the pace or strength to get past the CB.

John and CCV 90 minutes today.

Will be interesting to see who will feature in the end. Still some new defenders missing and Hojbjerg, Gio, Tanguy, Kane or Gil not there.

Have to say that Lucas has been on fire so far this pre-season. Dele has also looked good, along with Bergwijn, although Stevie badly needs a goal.

TBH impressed by CCV and Tanganga in the first half, our biggest weakness in the last 2 years has been our CB's reacting to the press and MK Dons pressed us very hard and they both stayed calm and moved the ball around without panicking and constantly looking for the keeper

The cynic in me thinks Sonny is trying to make a point to someone about loving the team, the fans and the players he plays with..he repeated it a lot

We could and should have scored 6 or 7. Decent performances all round but Moura was the real standout. Alli was also very good.

John and Skipp are nailed on for a 1st team squad place… both look composed on the ball, aggressive in the tackle and relaxed when under pressure.

The only starter who looked out of his depth was Whiteman… several excellent saves but his kicking and decision making (eg corners) was woeful.

I thought Whiteman started off shaky then the penalty save gave him confidence. Made some good saves after that.

Good saves yes but at corners his decision making was very poor. Like a fish out of water every time the ball came into the box. He also can’t kick the ball.

He had a good game today, he has the energy to play that box to box role, but I still prefer him further forward.

I think he got a lot more time because of the weaker opposition though, but promising signs. It'll be interesting to see if he starts when we have all the player back.

Lucas and bergwijn both making good cases to start the season as well.

we're moving the ball so fast.

I like it. its been a while since I've watched them play with purpose and having players making runs off the ball

It‘s almost like it’s revelatory actually watching a game where the players look like they know what they are doing when attacking. Early days but looking good.
