Back on track with an excellent performance and it could of been even better if we didn’t waste more chances.. One thing I mentioned earlier about the atmosphere Thursday being flat and it seemed the same today even with such a superb performance. Think fans need to remember what was being served up last season and just enjoy the football we are seeing. Maybe it’s to do with the amount of tickets going up on exchange again compared to the start of season when we were winning every week.

The irony of callum Wilson talking about a lack of respect. 😂
Not surprised by that guy. Gives it large on his podcast, however, a goal keeper does this 😜 and he has the audacity to say it’s disrespectful. Embarrassing to admit that in an interview as well.

So refreshing to have a manager that speaks the kinda language we all understand. Daws & Jamie even speaking sense.

What made the difference today was having Sarr in the middle alongside Bissouma; moving Kulusevski away from the RW with Johnson there and playing Son wide left with Richarlison down the middle.
Sarr in the CM made us more secure defensively and his runs create space for others going forward. He covers a huge amount of ground. Having 2 wide men staying wide and getting crosses in made us much more dangerous because this is the way Ange's style of football is supposed to work. Kulusevski was far more productive in the number 10 role than he ever is at RW.
Overall a good day at the office albeit against a very tired Newcastle team.

Realistically could we have bought a better keeper? What a fucking boss.
I don’t think we could’ve. Came out of nowhere too, up with the best signings we’ve made in years, bearing in mind he’s only been here half a season and things in football can change quickly

I remember bits of his post match interview when they beat us 6-0 last season and he was far from respectful then.
Or when he was laughing at dier giving away a pen when it hit his arm from behind and they changed the rules after
