I think the problem revolves around the lack of quality in the two CM’s, of your going to play with just two they need to be much better then the two currently on the pitch. We had the same issues since Poch and his 4231. Not really surprising it’s still causing us issues.

I don't understand why Conte persists with the 3-4-3. I guess it's to have the three attackers on the pitch at the same time. But match after match we fail to control the game. So frustrating.

its pretty simple really - we can't keep giving the opposition 60% possession every game and keep expecting to win. it might work in a couple but it's going to very difficult doing every week - which what we are still doing... need to fill up the midfield and try and get hold of the game

It's largely a personnel issue. Against teams that sit back and/or don't press you can get away with a Winks/PEH midfield, just about.

Against an all action team like Saints that midfield 2 is a nightmare, especially when you have Lucas handing over possession every time he gets it.

Amazed Conte hasn't changed anything tbh.

Kane does not hold the ball when its played to him it has to do better..
The back 3 are poor passers and our two centre mids are also terrible on the ball.. can`t keep it can`t pass it and can`t run with it.. just horrible
The teams off the ball movement is also not very good
