Maybe for Wolves but the purpose of man of the match is to award a player who has either been decisive or had a big impact on the game.

Coady's Wolves conceded two goals. Therefore, despite playing well, he failed to have a significant impact on the game.

I’d say 13 clearances is a pretty significant impact on the game, personally.

Hard to read anything into those stats against a team with nothing to play for. Same 11 bar Tanganga were dog shit against Leeds.

First half was a bit slow but on the rare occasions we broke through we showed we posed a threat. Adama was being his usual pain in the backside but overall we still shaded the half.

Second half much better. Standouts were Dele (again), Reg, PEH, Kane for me. Loved Reggy's desire for the 2nd goal. On another day that would be a 5 or 6-0 with Kane taking home the match ball.

Good subs at the right time. The plan worked today.

Can't wait for Weds with fans in. The Cup final yesterday was such an exciting watch just because of the atmosphere. I don't think I've ever cheered so much for a rival team when that Tielmans beaut went in.
