In the right system Emerson is undoutedly a good RB. But once you are used to watching Porro every week and then he's suddenly replaced by Emerson, the contrast of ability on the ball becomes so apparent that it seems completely bizarre that Barcelona signed him. He just seems so far removed from what you expect a club like Barca look for in a player.

I think the issue is bigger than Davies and Royal, personally. There's an almost disjointed nature to our play that was present even when Porro and Udogie were there.

It just doesn't seem to be flowing as well as it was. There are little 2-3 quick passing interchanges in and around the box, but not much else. I know it's always been the case to a degree, but the midfield 3 seem so far from each other a lot of the time. Maybe that's always been the case and I'm just noticing it more. I swear there used to me more little interchanges between Sarr, Bissouma and Maddison in the middle.

We played just as poorly last week with Porro and Udogie starting. This is a tactical issue imo. Coaches have figured out how to nullify us.
