this Wembley will ruin our chances shit is stupid imo

it's a football pitch and these guys have played on hundreds of football pitches over the years. it's not the same atmosphere I get that but that our team doesn't know how to play or doesn't fit at Wembley is silly we're talking about a few feet here and there

Our away form so far is better though. A lot better.

After the same games last season we had the same number of points. Our home results are worse but our away form is making up for it. Once we settle down at Wembley we'll be flying. I think we should treat Wembley as an away game, we'd do much better!
"We" aren't the problem at Wembley.
19 other teams coming with a completely different mentality to normal is the problem.
For at least 12 of those sides this is a rare opportunity to play at Wembley and they are playing to ensure they come away with something.

If only we had have tried not to go for a second late against Burnley and got a penalty against Swansea. We'd be more firmly sat in the top 4, right behind City and United. I think we'll get top four but them four extra points may be a huge difference between a battle for 4th and a title challenge.

The simple fact is, we are not very good against teams that 'park the bus'

It really is as simple as that,
I thought we were last season once we hit our stride. After all we hammered WBA 4-0 at home, don't get much more 'bus parker' than that.

I think every team could use those two. They are incredibly class players with unique skill sets every team like Barcelona, Bayern, PSG, etc. could really use them.

Indeed, there is a reason the both play for the best team in the world.

Just realised we'd be joint top if we hadn't drawn against Burnley and Swansea, quite disappointing, imperative that we get rid of this whole Wembley thing against Bournemouth.

City dropped points at home to Everton.

Marathon not a sprint etc etc...

True, but for us it's about managing the game a bit better and hitting form at home. Then we'll be fine.

Yer sure, because if we had played our home games at whl this season we still would have lost 1 and drawn 2 right? Its nothing to do with the dimensions. Its the lack ofany intense atmosphere, familiarity, opposition playing above themselves like a cup final and so on

And most importantly its a psychological problem. The idea that we struggle there is in the players heads and that does play with people's minds.

It's that and also opposition teams raise their game for the occasion of playing there. The combination is deadly.

I think the combination of those will stand us in better stead in the long term, we are still learning to deal with different situations, scenarios and tactics as a team, once we get over that Wembley hurdle consistently it's only going to help us.

well yes actually it is quite possible we would've lost one and drawn two, it's also possible we could've won all 3, it's also possible we would've drawn two and lost one u see where I'm going w this we don't know and never will. Have we never lost and drawn matches to subpar teams at WHL I feel like we have

Not when we've come back off a 17-2-0 season at WHL and in those games that we played this year at Wembley we won all three last season scoring 9 conceding 1, come on even the players are admitting that Wembley is not the same as playing at WHL

It should help us in future seasons if we play any semi finals/finals there too.
