Was he the lad that that went to the USA, I think to a club that have links with Bologna which is why he ended up there?
He was highly rated iirc but our academy was being so neglected at that time, he was one of many we lost.
It was Canada, Montreal if I remember correctly.
doesn’t always work if you move abroad.

I'm glad that he got his debut and it kind of made me wonder....what are the circumstances that Ange will play a youth academy player?

Is Ange a "wait until we're 3-0 up" or a "throw them in the fire and see how they cope" type? Anyone got any idea from his previous clubs

To my mind I think that though he's very 'brave' with the type of football we play, he's actually quite cautious with things like youth players and injuries. Bentancur felt he was ready a while before Ange and the medical staff. I think, despite putting Donley on at City, he's more likely to wait until we're a few goals up.

He might prove me entirely wrong though, that wouldn't surprise me either.

Shame it's not on Spursplay, guess that's because it's the youth Cup and not the league.

1-0 up. Hall. An absolute thumping shot into the top corner from just outside the area, brilliant finish.

How are the teams in the u18 league decided? It seems weird that Wolves are in the Northern division when Aston Villa and West Brom are in the south......particularly when you consider that both Norwich and Leicester are further north than Wolverhampton.

2-0. Akhamrich. He goes in a run from the middle of the pitch just inside the box, cuts back onto his left and slots it into the bottom corner. Another good goal.

3-1. Morgan. Ball falls to him on the outside of the area and he cooly side foots into the corner of the net.

4-1. Ajayi. Ball is played to him just inside the area and then fires past the keeper to make it four. Game over.
