Not being funny, but could the BOBBs be decided on a bit earlier than this last one was? Thought it was a bit unfair suddenly bringing it in a couple of hours before the game when quite a few people, myself included, had already made their predictions days before?

The BOBBS usually are posted a few days in advance. But the majority of predictions are made when the teams are announced as well. I would suggest to check the thread before a game if you've made your prediction early on in the week

I agree as BOBBs are often announced not long before a game and some people post predictions immediately after the previous game and can miss out.

Also, it's a good idea to check if there's a message attached to your prediction as some aren't reading the rules and are doing the predictions wrong - eg, more than one scorer when only the first scorer in each half counts or just putting a final score with no half-time score or scorers.

This is having to be said every game now so far by Cosmic, and I'm going to say it again here;

Only one prediction for first goal scorer in each half will count, so even if you predict, Van der Vaart, Sandra and Joe Jordan to score, and they all do, only Van der Vaart will count, if he is first goal scorer.


Please also try to check back into the thread on the day of the game for any updates like BOBBS,etc and if there are any changes to lineups you must edit your post before kick off. I know it's hard for some people to check into the thread all the time though.
