I suppose you could say it was 4-1-3-2

but it was often called 4-4-2 and it gets tricky this naming of formations

anyway 4-4-2 or 4-1-3-2 we can play 3 mids and 2 strikers

Charley Corluka's tackling and interceptions (games for City included, of course) should be carefully noted. Bale and Jenas have so far improved a lot over last season, too.

As far as I'm concerned the problem is not so much that we haven't got an enforcer type, more that we still haven't decided who does what in midfield.
