Stoke have been on the beach for a while now....pound to a penny they play like fucking Brazil tonight.

Brazil circa 2014 hopefully!

Like this

Think we'll play like Germany tonight.

I predict a 1-7 win for us.

Let's try to rein everything in though, yids. Remember that in 9 tries, Poch has never beaten this team.

Tonight is the night to breakthrough!

Tonight like most games is about who scores first. We got to score first & prefereably quite early. Unlike earlier in season, Stoke do not have much to play for. If we lead the game, I am not sure if they will have the drive & motivation to catch us. Flip side, if they lead, its going to be really tough.

Expecting it to be a tough game, Stoke are a team we have always seemed to struggle a bit against since they became a PL team (though they're inconsistent, particularly over the last couple of months.). If we show the same focus and desire as last week though then I'm confident we get the job done.
True, we have struggled in the past, but that was when they were a 'rugby' team and we didn't have very much fight about us. Nowadays, they at least try to play football the right way, which is exactly what we need!

Most seasons i would head in to a game away at stoke and think, id be happy with a draw. This season im looking forward to the game and actually im quite optomistic we will win, and win well

Another reason we shouldn't be taking anything for granted...

"The other members of the Premier League's top five have all failed to beat Stoke there this season."

Title bid? Stop. Mathematically, its not over yet. But realistically, its been over for a few weeks now. We need to win to keep 2nd firmly within our grasp.
OK, you're obviously on a wind up. If we win tonight, we're 5 points behind. With 12 points on the table. They still have United & Chelsea. And despite what some on here think, Chelsea will not want to lose a football match (yes they lost 0-3 to City... but Leicester are not City, despite their season, City have players that - on their day - can win any match in a heartbeat. They turned up against Chelsea.) Leicester don't have that. Also, Everton are a much tougher team away from home.
I'm more than happy with our run-in.

They have some dangerous players going forward, but their injuries at the back really weaken them IMO.

Have tried my best to not think about this all day but now the nerves are really starting to build. I hate Monday evening games.

Not feeling confident at all. Wish Harry hadn't posted that picture on Instagram, whenever we do something like that it just upsets the footballing gods and they make us pay

I get a feeling people cannot get used to us actually not being 'Spursy' this season and therefore still think that the worst will happen

Agreed. But it wouldn't be spursy to lose. They are a very good team at home, and as someone said, no one in the top 5 has won there. Will take a very very good performance to go there and win. And I believe we can

You think Man City didn't think they were in a title bid in 2012 with 5 games to go?

Our course we are in a title bid.
