Do we get a sell on fee you reckon?
Id think, given Newcastle's position and likelihood that they'd be relegated and therefore AT sold, that Levy would most certainly have had a sell on clause in there...

Kante being linked to Madrid
Sold him for £12m I thoughtIsn't sell on clauses based on profit? And we sold Andros for 14m was it? Therefore no profit made.

I wouldn't be surprised if Levy was savvy enough to include such a clause. It's almost standard practice these days.Do we get a sell on fee you reckon?
But no mention of the English, Spanish, Italian or even German leagues.Hulk gone to China for £40m.
What a bizarre career he's had. Brazil > Japan > Portugal > Russia > China.
Strange from Watford there. The huge Deeney offer before and now this. With 70m, surely they could get better? Deeney is okay and Ighalo went right off the boil from January onwards.

I think the pace and intensity of the league caught up with Ighalo a bit. I reckon he may do well again next year.Strange from Watford there. The huge Deeney offer before and now this. With 70m, surely they could get better? Deeney is okay and Ighalo went right off the boil from January onwards.
The thing is, the whole league is awash with fucking ridiculous money now, which means two things. 1) The likes of Sadio Mané cost £34m. 2) The entire league can offer silly amounts for players (like Palace for Batashuayi), which means Watford would only be able to get a good replacement if none of the many clubs more attractive than them were interested. They'd be left with lots of money - which they simply don't need if they stay up - to try and find a hidden gem, and risk relegation if they fail. That's how we live in a world where £70m for Deeny and Ighalo isn't an attractive offer.
Maybe it was the fear of losing their two best strikers and ending up with crap, ala Berbatov and Keane.

He was initially sent back from his season-long loan last October after paying a £50 fine for turning up late to training in one pence pieces.
