I really want the Pogba deal to go through. United and Jose stamp their dominance on the premiership but for it all to go to pot.

The Egos in that team will be remarkable to watch as they try to out do each other.

It's a disgraceful transfer. 100m+ for a bloke you allowed to walk away in the first place. Mourinho will get so many plaudits for winning the league when really all he's done is throw money at the problem.

This is why I am so tuned into Pochettino's methods. He is a coach first. His best work is on the training ground developing players, implementing good habits, removing bad ones and having a happy medium between defence and attack. As a manager he has overseen fundamental changes to our club's structure and mentality leading from the front. All of this hard work manifests out on the pitch and we have a core group who will lead us in years to come, and in the moment a team who can go far.

*Kevin Keegan voice* I will luv it if we beat em, LUV IT.

It's all he's ever done since leaving Porto.
I'll love it if he's gone mid way through the season!!

And as for the transfer fee - no way he's worth that much.
He had one game in the Euros where he shone.
I don't think he'll like being kicked around in the PL and will be another Balotelli when things aren't going his way.

£60M for Mane and Wijnaldum. WOW. Fenway basically just give unlimited funds to every Liverpool manager.

Hopefully it flops just as badly as the Carroll/Downing transfers. Silly money. Their fans want regular CL football and title challenges. These signings will not give them that.

I would think Klopp would be more ambitious than just top half of the table.

Let's be honest, those signings regardless of the price are not going to get you top 6, let alone top 4.

Apparently City have hijacked Inters move for Gabriel Jesus, that sucks, one of the biggest young talents in South American football at present.

Pogba's agent Mino Raiola, has agreed a €24m package from Manchester United.

24 million Euros for the agent!!!

That is truly obscene.

:devil::devil::devil::devil:

If you read Fergie's version of why Pogba left manure for nothing, it's because Old Red Nose loathed Raiola.

Now, seeing his beloved Yanited pay the guy 24 million Euros to get Pogba back, on top of a ridiculous transfer fee, must be causing Fergie serious angst and grief.
