Pogba's agent Mino Raiola, has agreed a €24m package from Manchester United.

24 million Euros for the agent!!!

That is truly obscene.

:devil::devil::devil::devil:

If you read Fergie's version of why Pogba left manure for nothing, it's because Old Red Nose loathed Raiola.

Now, seeing his beloved Yanited pay the guy 24 million Euros to get Pogba back, on top of a ridiculous transfer fee, must be causing Fergie serious angst and grief.

Good, Fergie's a cock, or at least was one.

The whole thing surrounding Man Utd/Mourinho and the Pogba transfer is obscene. Juventus are going to do so well out of it. They've bought good players already and with c.85m or so in their pocket, they can tie up the league straight away.

As for Man Utd, I hope it fails dramatically. Mourinho has spent a fortune already and he'll be lauded as a genius if it goes well - because signing players for huge fees makes him a genius. I wonder what sort of style they'll have, if any. At least with Guardiola, you expect some kind of philosophy to go with the players they have bought and fees they'll spend. Is it wrong to expect Mourinho to be dull and practical despite having some very good players? It would fit his MO...

It's ok he'll keep spending and win the league & a cup or 2, then it'll go pear shaped & he'll trot off to another mammoth spender in PSG and win more titles/cups with unlimited funding ....

Guardiola fascinates me. Its the first time he has been in a league where more than two teams can compete.
Let's see how his football translates when he hasn't got ultimate cheat modes on.

Regarding United I always hope they fail, but Maureen doesn't annoy me as much as Pep. The reverence Pep garners has been forged in the Fires of paradise.

For £144 million you can:
  • Buy 77 Bugatti Veyrons
  • Buy 4094kg of 24 carat gold
  • Build 4 Eiffel Towers
  • Buy 36 million chickens
  • Buy 626 average-priced houses
  • Buy 221879 IPhone 6s
  • Buy 1 Paul Pogba
It's fucking ridiculous ffs. He's a great player and all, but no one is worth £144 million...

Well, with your username, I reckon you'd splurge on the chickens........

Moyes and Van Gaal could have spent big but didn't. Anyone that wins the league will spend big and Guardiola is hardly different. The man that inherited Xavi Iniesta and messi, then went to Munich and City? At least Mourinho had to work for his titles at Inter, Porto and Real Madrid.

Sounds like you just don't fancy Jose.

Pretty sure both Moyes and Van Gaal did both spend fortunes. You can look it up to prove or disprove, if you like.

I don't like Jose, he's a twunt and the media obsession is annoying, or Man Utd, or most other than Spurs for that matter, why would I, but I don't think he's had to work as hard for his dinner as you say since Porto. Again, both of the clubs that followed were big spenders.

And Guardiola has become the same. Handpicked jobs with lots of money to spend. Inheriting is true but he was part of the youth system which made those players, too and has left a mark on each club - even if Bayern fans didn't really like their team becoming Spanish.

The next job for one or the other will be PSG, probably.

So, given the track records of the two, which is most likely to play with what we'd call style. I would be surprised if Mourinho does. After his first spell at Chelsea, it's been pragmatism all the way. Just don't know what Guardiola will do with City.

Point is, spending a fortune to be dull is not really an achievement.. Hopefully for the viewing public they won't be, but it's hardly going to be a shock of they shell out nearly £300m on players and then park the bus at 1-0.

Still, good to see them turned over so emphatically tonight. Even if it is only a friendly.

Not sure if it's just me but this kid looks exactly like i imagine an Arsenal player to look..

It's probably because this is how big players respond when offered a contract by Arsenal :p:
