What's the over/under on Joey Barton's red card in his first Old Firm game?

11 minutes? 7? In the tunnel beforehand?

This guy any good?

BREAKING NEWS

Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius is in Liverpool for medical ahead of completing a £4.7m move to the club.
Seen him live quite a few times (friend is a season ticket holder at Mainz) and yeah he is pretty decent. Good height, gets down fast, reasonable distribution.

All round solid from what I have seen and 4.7M is a good price. Think Mainz might struggle to get an as good replacement for that money and he will be a bit of a miss for them as they have qualified for the Europa League this coming season. Not idea to have to replace your keeper.

Eder signs for Lille from Swansea.

Sandro Ramirez can leave Barcelona for free this summer.

Pierre-Emile Hojberg has decided to leave to leave Bayern this, according to a danish newspaper he will be able to leave for 5M.
Is he one we should be interested in?

We already have a young, talented box-to-box midfielder who just had a disappointing season. We don't need another. Besides, Hojbergs potential has dropped somewhat - might still turn out to be a good player, but he couldn't even break in to Schalkes starting 11 for most of the season.

Slightly unfair considering he was never going to, nor was he expected, to displace Goretzka and they had just signed Geis in the summer. Add in the fact that he was a loan signing so clearly if it's close you give your guy the minutes. When I saw him he looked solid in their team. If that 5 million is true it would not be the worst investment - he is 20 years old! He can also cover both positions in the CM2. He also may settle more quickly with Eriksen here and our former Bundesliga contingent. Just sayin...

Goretzka is not some irreplaceable fixture of the team. Previous managers didn't even want to play him in midfield. Promising player, but hasn't quite lived up to it yet.

Frankly Hojbjerg simply wasn't much to write home about.

These guys seem to be doing a lot of early business (with a few exciting sounding youngsters for the long-term too):

West Ham United have completed a deal to sign 16-year-old forward Domingos Quina.

The Portuguese won the European Under-17 Championships with his country this month and joins as an academy player on a two-year deal.

“Domingos is some talent,” academy manager Terry Westley said. "He has the same qualities as a Manuel Lanzini - he is both a goal-scorer and a goal-creator. This is a potentially massive signing.”

Upgrade on Mignolet?

I defer to your superior knowledge of S04. I am only recently (this season) looking to adopt a BL team and have watched a few more of their games. Last time I made a 'hasty' decision in choosing a club it led me to Spurs . But that was years ago so I was young (...and stupid).

Back to the point I was making though; both Hojbjerg and Goretzka are 20 and 21 respectively. Loads of time on their side. I was just addressing someone making an slightly unfair and premature judgement about a player at such a young age.

The 22-year-old came close to a move to Tottenham in January, but West Brom could lose the striker on a free in the sumer of 2017.
