Max Kilman has impressed me so much recently. I feel like he would be the absolute perfect fit for that LCB position. However, he will cost a fortune at this point, I’d imagine.

Unless we use a much maligned agent we are chums with…

Would be great experience to add to the backline but kind of a funny fit since he’d be ideal centrally and Dier is thriving there.

I still think if we are looking for an out and out CF we should target Patrik Schick.

However, his 20 goals in 20 games will have doubled his price tag I'd say. Wouldn't be cheap.

We do have a history of buying fantastic forwards from Leverkusen though ?

Genuinely still no idea about this guy, and swear he's just some sort of joke SC is having behind my back.

Never even seen him kick a ball ?‍♂️

Watfords Denis looks a very good player atm. Rubbish numbers at Brugge but he could certainly push son on the left side if he was to keep playing as he has been.

I’ll be curious to see if my view changes on Pau Torres as I watch more of him (knock on effect due to following how Lo Celso is doing). So far, I find him to be really underwhelming. If we are willing to dish out big on a defender for the LCB role, Botman and Kilman (Bremer, too, since he looks like he’ll be good anywhere) are way more enticing in my mind.

Yeah the figures that have been thrown around for Pau Torres seem significantly high and I haven't seen any recent form from him that would warrant such a high price.
I can only see us getting 1 CB in the summer, so its either a top quality ball-playing CB to play centrally instead of DIer or a left sided (likely left footed) player who can comfortably carry the ball forward to play instead of Davies.

If Torres didn't have a sexy name (and face) and wasn't a left sided CB, I'm not sure we'd even be interested.

Besides White, who is the best English CB in the 18-23 bracket ?

We were linked to Piero Hincapie a few weeks back. For me, he looks like that type of player you described for the LCB role.

Bremer definitely looks good and in any other system, I would personally be fine with him at LCB. However, I think it's imperative that an LCB in Conte's system is also left-footed and very good on the ball.
So, what LCB that's even remotely available, is very good on the ball, and agile enough to cover large spaces like Davies apart from Bastoni?

I can think of a few but they all come with caveats either in price, level of opposition, or questions about their performances like Aké, Pau Torres, Botman, etc.

I see there is talk of madrid exercising the clause for Reguillon.

Perhaps Dwight McNeill could be an option at LWB?

LCB doesn't have to be left footed, he used Rudiger there at Chelsea. It would be ideal if we could find someone who can play at both LCB and RCB.

I was flicking last night between the two matches and both Torres and Botman seem very rigid centre halves. My issue with them in a three would be at times you will find yourselves out wide by the touchline defending and I can't see either of them enjoying that side very much. Also I can't see either getting forward to the extent I have seen Bastoni be effective at Inter. For me we need a hybrid between a left back and a centre back and therefore Gvardiol would be the perfect fit for the way Conte wants to play.

Wouldn't be slightly bothered if RM were interested in exercising their clause for Reguilon.

However, I'm sure I saw something on here last week about him saying he's got no interest in returning to the club after they discarded him at the first opportunity?

GK: I actually think Lloris will have a say in who we bring in here. He spoke about finding the next keeper who could serve us another 10 years. Wouldn't be surprised to see that..

LCB: Botman/Torres/Gvardiol I'd be really happy with any of these. Personal favorite is still Bremer at Torino. However today I saw Bayern was linked as well.

RWB: I think it will be Mæhle actually. We were linked by some ITK guys on twitter as well. Wouldn't cost a fortune. Lamptey will and he isn't for me. Baku would be my choice though.

CM: Winks, GLC, Ndomebele all needs shipping badly. Bissouma would be the dream, he's incredible and knows the PL. Kessie on a free a could live with too. Matheus could be another one and let's not forget Sarr.

Forward: I'd take Jonathan David but Nkunku would be a dream. Ketelaere could work too but i'd like more first team ready players.
