Looking at that list I wouldn't mind BLind from UTD. I think he would enhance the squad and whilst not be a star, would get enough games covering CB/lCB/LD or MD to be happy. Poch player for the squad.

Would rather we kept faith in Dier with the highly rated CCV backing him up.
If we stay with the three at the back and Wimmer goes, as looks likely, we'll need another PL hardened CB though. Keane looks to be a bit of a leader too, which our squad could do with more of.

Just to further to eddiev14's excellent post a few pages back, I had a look at some other players with 12 months left on their contracts this Summer from around Europe, including the ones he mentioned.

Obviously there are some names we could never attract (included just out of interest), but there are players in that list we could realistically target who would improve our 1st XI/squad, and ones who I'm sure Levy would relish trying to do cut-price deals for (e.g. Wanyama).

Id take Shaw, Barkley and Keane from that lot (realistically) then look for a striker/wf

If Winner goes surely we need a left footed centre back?

Just think it's a bit of a pointless signing seeing as we have other areas to focus on.

Yeah possibly left footed CB is prefererable, but he's very good.

And it's not pointless if we are going to be playing three centre backs all season - and Jan has a dodgy ankle he keeps turning.

I didn't realize Dries Mertens has only one year left on his contract. He has been unbelievable this season for Napoli. 23 goals and 11 assists between Serie A and Champions League games. Has lots of pace, technically great, versatile, tricky dribbler. Only concern with him is his age, but on a cut price deal given his contract, we should be all over that. Surely we could attract him with CL football, good wages and our contingent of Belgians. Would be good enough to push Eriksen, Alli, Lamela for a starting place, too.

Mertens, De Vrij, Dahoud would be an unbelievable summer..

I highlighed the players I think could be of interest and be realistic targets (sorry, I doubt Isco is withiin Spurs grasp) - depending, of course, on what formation Poch settles for (or he simply may not settle for a set formation) as well as players leaving.
I think the most likely players to leave - and thus need to be replaced - are Davies, Wimmer and Sissoko (I think Poch will give Janssen another season to prove himself). If the price is"right" Spurs may sell Son as well (he was very close to leaving last summer).
I would naturally look at other targets as well and not only those whose contract is running out.

We should try to get some of the ones I've highlighted. The rest are either too high profile or not what we need

Which of the two do you consider Musacchio as? Think he'd be great in our current formation with a back trio.
Getting rid of one of Wimmer or Davies as Vertonghen's challenger, while signing someone who could play on the right or even cover when Toby is out.

Musacchio has had a lot of injury problems - think his best days have passed.

He's going to Milan next window. Not official, but pretty much done

So weird that Luke Shaw is out of contract soon,
feels like he signed for United last summer.
Injuries makes it so he's hardly played.

I'd bid for Sanchez and Ozil just to tip the goon fans over the edge into mass suicide. We still need some revenge for RSol.

I've been scouting Ramadan some more. I think Poch could mould him into a Dembele type player, though one with a bit more to offer going forward. He's very strong and difficult to get off the ball. Very skillful player.

I can't believe you haven't highlighted Strootman there, he would be one of the best midfielders in the Prem as soon as he opened the front door at Hotspur Way

@Flashspur why did you spam this? @UpTownSpur has a right to his opinion. I for one would be fine if we just had agree, disagree, and informative options on this board. People neg rep just to neg rep.

@UpTownSpur i like the look of the kid but from what I have seen I see more of a wide player that enjoys taking people on. I do think he has a lot of physical attributes that make him an attractive option. Would not be mad singing a young talent.

I would be shocked if we weren't considering shaw.

Poch and him still speak frequently.

When shaw broke his leg, he called poch crying. That highlights their relationship.

For us to challenge across multiple competitions Rose and shaw would be perfect

He's been playing wide for Stoke and doing very well, though he doesn't have great pace, which is something we're missing as it is. I think he could play a number of positions but I find the similarities between him and Dembele quite striking so think he could end up a CM, which isn't where Dembele started out either. Re, the neg rep - you just have to learn to live with that if you're someone who has an opinion - there's a group of seriel neg reppers on the site like Shadydan, tiger666 and flashspur you learn to just ignore.

Lots of players on that list we should go for.

Mertens I've always liked and would be great for us replacing Sissoko in the squad
