He's going to Milan next window. Not official, but pretty much done
and we couldn't get the deal done when we originally went for him in Poch's first summer due to third party ownership which I presume is still the case

I would be shocked if we weren't considering shaw.
Poch and him still speak frequently.
When shaw broke his leg, he called poch crying. That highlights their relationship.
For us to challenge across multiple competitions Rose and shaw would be perfect
What The Fuck!?Oxlade Chamberlain as Dembele's successor......??
You could apply all of this except the Man City and wont come to us to signings like Woodgate, but we did make itLet's see
Wages
Injury prone
Man City won't sell to a rival
He wouldn't come to us
No re-sale value
Past his peak
Pick any of the above
At Dortmund?Oxlade Chamberlain as Dembele's successor......??

Surely Tielemans will be on paltry wages coming from the Belgian league, which will hopefully mean that clubs won't feel the need to offer him a mega contract -- a standard PL level contract would still represent a big increase from where he currently stands. It should be similar to the Eriksen situation where he came in from Ajax and his first contract was at 30k/w despite the fact that he had long been identified as a wonderkid and was coveted by clubs such as City.ali z: Tielemans is deffo on radar comes down to opposition ...ie a club that might blow us out of water 4 wages ie mane liverpool
Wages; I believe we will compete, unless you are talking in excess of 150k-whispersali z: Tielemans is deffo on radar comes down to opposition ...ie a club that might blow us out of water 4 wages ie mane liverpool
Honestly rather keep Davies, as Ben is a wonderful part of this squad, he gets along with everybody and you can tell by his play at times, especially against Everton that he's just desperate to be apart of the good things that are happening at Tottenham.I would be shocked if we weren't considering shaw.

This shouldn't deter us people need to remember he's onomah's age and a year younger then winks, young players are inconsistent. The same criticism was and still is labeled against eriksen. Think if anything this shows why the really big clubs are not really interested in him yet.just got done watching anderlecht and tielemans was ... underwhelming, it's not the first time i've been left feeling that way having watched him either. he did a disciplined job in central midfield but i failed to see what he was really bringing to the team. defensively it was dendoncker doing most of the work whilst tielemans was just kind of there, offered very little going forward, nothing special in possession and got caught a couple of times dithering on the ball. obviously at 19/20 he's a work in progress but from what i've seen so far people are being very premature in thinking he could make a big impact on our first team .. sorry to piss on everyone's sparklers.
Just to further to eddiev14's excellent post a few pages back, I had a look at some other players with 12 months left on their contracts this Summer from around Europe, including the ones he mentioned.

Obviously there are some names we could never attract (included just out of interest), but there are players in that list we could realistically target who would improve our 1st XI/squad, and ones who I'm sure Levy would relish trying to do cut-price deals for (e.g. Wanyama).
This shouldn't deter us people need to remember he's onomah's age and a year younger then winks, young players are inconsistent. The same criticism was and still is labeled against eriksen. Think if anything this shows why the really big clubs are not really interested in him yet.
The fact is that proven players who could improve our starting XI are going for £50-60m in today's market. We will always need to develop players for the foreseeable future. The trick is getting the right ones, that can step up quickly.is another project player really what we need at this point though? what happens to winks if tielemans comes in? i know players like him are what this club is built on but i think we need to just capitalise on the position the club currently finds itself in. 20m+ on a player that hasn't really proven anything yet is a lot of money, if we're targeting central midfielders then i'd rather it went towards someone who could instantly take the team up another level. i'll watch tielemans again in the 2nd leg, hopefully he shows a bit more than he has on the admittedly few occasions i've seen him.
