:ROFLMAO:

If we win our game in hand we go level on points with Pool and are three points behind United. They are no more competing with City than we are.

Means nothing. They will win the Champions League.

That`s even more prestigious than winning the league.

Arsenal will win the Europa League.

Have you got this weeks lottery numbers as well ? You think Roma and others are just going to give them the CL ?

GTFO with your positive thinking and practical appraisal of our position. . We'll have none of that in here thank you very much.

I give Roma no chance whatsoever.

Liverpool are perfectly balanced. Klopps 4-3-3 is perfect for the Champions League. A hardworking side with pace on the counter.

They won`t be given the Champions League trophy. The will simply take it.

Again you're attacking the club for pulling off a dud signing, it happens to everyone, why can't you accept this?
With respect, Dan, I feel the "other clubs fuck up as well" argument is a pretty facile one. Isn't it important to analyse the reasons WHY we might have made a "dud signing"? And if it's because once again principal targets have been missed as we've left it late in the window in an attempt to drive down the price, and then we've had to scrap around for inferior alternatives, opportunistic or panic buys, then I think people have a right to criticise. Hopefully, addressing those flaws in our transfer policy might go some way to reducing the risk of signing "duds" in the future. Not always easy, I know, but surely the logic of this approach is something you can accept?

It's football, not an exact science.

Good grief.

That doesn`t change the fact that Liverpool are strong favorites against Roma.

Which means they are more likely to be in the Champions League final.

And I see no reason why they would not be able to beat either Madrid or Bayern.

I mean, come on, we beat Madrid.

Does anybody really believe Roma will knock out Liverpool over two legs?

A team that beat Man City 5-1 on aggregate.

We can beat Madrid, but they can´t?

By that logic, Liverpool should be getting relegated because they drew with West Brom on the weekend.

If there's one thing that is absolutely clear about Liverpool, it's that they are perfectly capable of making a bollocks of it against a weaker team like Roma. They are favourites, and rightly so, but it is far from a done deal. Any defence coached by Klopp entertains the possibility of conceding more goals than even Salah/Firmino/Mane can cook up at the other end.

I`d take Liverpools defense over Roma´s.

Fazio is part of that Roma defense.

You also have to factor in all those Madrid players know exactly how to win it, because they have all pretty much done it twice. As good as Pool have been this season, that Madrid side(or Bayern for that matter) won't be struck by the occasion of a CL final.
