Translation:

According to information from RMC Sport, Anthony Martial refused an offer of extension from Manchester United. The French striker, unhappy with his low playing time, wants to leave during the transfer window to find a new challenge. Several big clubs are on the lookout.

The story of Anthony Martial at Manchester United may be coming to an end. According to information from RMC Sport, the 22-year-old striker refused the extension that his managers offered him. The latter offered him a new lease of five years, but the French international preferred to decline. Reduced to a role of doubling since the arrival of Alexis Sanchez in January, the former Monegasque, transferred in 2015 for 60 million euros, no longer supports this situation. Before the winter transfer window, he had 11 goals and 10 assists this season. But his playing time has been drastically reduced in recent weeks.
Cold relations with Mourinho

To the point that Martial no longer feels considered by the English club. His relations with his coach José Mourinho have been quite cold since the beginning of the year. Under contract until 2019, the striker trained at OL has an optional year, but he wants to leave this summer. Big European clubs are interested in his profile, like Juventus Turin, Tottenham or Atlético de Madrid. His agent has already been surveyed by several trainings to know his desires in the offseason.

I do like Martial, a lot, but I’m not sure I’d select him ahead of Son, so he’d be in the same position here as United.

I guess Martial could potentially employ a similar role to what Bale could in that he'd be effective either out wide, up front in place of Kane or even playing off him if needed.

I'd like to think he might be cheaper than Bale too but not sure. I feel like he'd have more chances to play for us than he has for Utd.

Anthony Martial rejected a new 5 year contract. He wants to leave due to low playing time.

Martial no longer feels considered at #mufc. His relationship with Mourinho has been cold since the beginning of the year. Tottenham, Juventus, Atletico Madrid interested (+ others). His agent has already been contacted. [Mohammed Bouhafsi, Rmc]

Would be v happy to let Rose go in some sort of Martial deal, then go for Sessegnon with the saved money.

Martial would seem to fit the bill of an attacking player who could fit in across the front line, rather than an out an out no. 2 for Kane.

I'd be interested to see what MP could do with him - clearly talented and we'll have no shortage of players who know a bit about him already. All comes down to price and/or our current options vs either a replacing or adding to them.

This is a hard one, I really like Martial and wanted us to sign him before he signed for Man U (Ha, N'Jie). However, I think we're going to find it hard to sign anyone in the forward positions due to all the cover we have. That and the other teams mentioned are also very good options. Atletico Madrid could be losing Griezmann in the summer as well.

Not sure about the Trippier stuff. I don't see him going from first choice to gone regardless of KWP. Not that I have heard anything on the situation but if we were that worried about him and thought he was good enough he'd surely be playing at least some minutes now. If anyone was to go to make room I'd have thought it would have been Aurier, especially with his BFF likely to move on.
would love to see Trippier, KWP as our two right backs next season

For some reason I could see Martial going to Liverpool if he really is available. He would make a lot of sense for us to get him but I'm not sure he would have enough game time. Still he would be a much better as a striker then Son. But can players refuse contact extension?

Chances of Utd selling to Liverpool are next to nothing imo

Yeah but this is the third time they have approached us, after the previous two I'm not sure we'd entertain them tbh

But maybe this time (instead of using us to drive his price up) we're seen not only as an ambitious club - but also as a club on the verge of great things.

Who would you have on the bench, Bailey or Harry Kane? Never going to happen.

Kane starts - obviously. But Bailey could be an alternative to Kane if our talisman is injured (or needs a rest) and play a regular role out wide (like Son) when Kane is on the field. It's also possible that Pochettino might use Kane and Bailey together...

Having said all that, I believe that our greatest priority has to be centre midfield. We desperately need an alternative to Dembele. Dembele is terrific but what happens when we gets injured?
