Mahrez, Kramer and batshuayi

If we qualify for champions league these would go along way to ensuring we not only qualify again next year but compete in the competition too!

You do realise that we can only play 11 players at one time right? :p

Hope Madrid do something stupid again and put Modric up for sale because they want Pogba.

Mahrez, seriously...? We should have a look in shitty teams that are in danger of relegation and try to poach some starplayers who are ready to abandon the sinking ship, players like Eden Hazard, Willian...

Those three could easily be 80+ mil combined.

Can't see how we'd go throwing around money like that without selling a key player.

Depends if we end up 3rd or higher with guaranteed CL income. If so I think we should go all out for Batshuyi and Mahrez.

Then perhaps another DM to cover Dier.

TBH, I'm quite happy with what we have been doing - looking within and at the lower leagues. Yes, they may not all work out but the potential loss is much less than, say, a Soldado.

I think two incomings. No outgoings.

A CD/DM option, capable of covering both like Dier. Maybe not an automatic starter, just a guy in the Wimmer mould, who can come in, play the odd game for acclimatisation, and be there when needed to step up. Arguably, Carter-Vickers has the opportunity to step up, and also lets see how Ball finishes his loan, and if he comes back better for the development of playing regularly.
A natural CF to understudy Kane. Berahino seems like it's being out in place as an option, however Dembele's contact situation appears to make it an easy option to pull the trigger on, no club to agree fee with, assuming he doesn't sign with anyone else first.

That's about it. Good strength in depth everywhere else. Young players on the up.

No need to add others, as we have options galore in CM and AM, plus a top notch bank of FB's.

Cheaper option, Carter-Vickers and Ball to cover CB/DM, Dembele to CF.
More pricey option, Wanayama for CB/DM and Berhaino (or Sturridge based on today's media) for CF.
Either option works for me. I like the cheaper option in the fact it's something we can build rather than just buy in ready made.

We're never going to keep a Kane and Lukaku happy. Maybe Real could manage it but not us.

That's a fairly common view and I'm not disagreeing with you, but how well are our fullbacks doing at the moment with 4 players effectively sharing 2 positions? They all look very fit and sharp and seem to have embraced the rotation Poch is using. Why couldn't it work elsewhere on the pitch?

Hahaha Bolasie. I wouldn't take him on a free, let alone selling Lamela and Chadli to fund a move for him.
