Bloody Sessegnon today was diving all over the place and he got a free kick every single time!! No one mentions anything about that though!

I'll tell you what impressed me. The two passes, perfectly weighted , by Parker, at the end into space. I really do hope the tactical nous rubs off on mr walker. IMHO he is the Achilles heel of the team. Is a bit too aggressive for my liking and gives away too many free kicks close enough to goal.

And lennons goal. What a peach...

What impressed me today was the pressing up top. Usually it is us on the receiving end but we looked organised and it was a great team effort. From there with the pace we have it can be devastating. Only criticisms as should have finished them off earlier.

Ade looks out of sorts, could see from his body language in the last game (not celebrating goals). However, he is putting himself in the right places and it wil happen. As for the Bale penalty/dive it was a definite pen. He clipped his knee and his trailing leg tapped his ankle. Ref in the wrong place and could only see bale trailing his leg, which every player does when they go down, and gardener pulling away.

Good win at a tough ground

I love the way we play with a purpose we want To win now, we have a plan and we use it, fantastic dimension to our game , 1 or 2 big players and we can reach for the sky's

What's encouraging for me is how compact we are at the back. we've barely conceded a chance of note from open play in the past three games.

We are starting to really impressed me on the road. Play as a team defensively and have players of genuine class rotating. Fact that we swapped our cbs and still looked solid says a lot.
Lennon was outstanding, great goal too as was bale. Naughton hs looked very good last two games very impressive today. Dawson was good apart from giving away silly fouls. Lastly a special mention that Dempsey who really looked the part when he came on. Impressed. COYS

Back to back away wins, both pretty tricky grounds to play at, but we got all 6 points, scored 6 with only 1 in reply in the space of a few days. Nice.

Bale was always going to get booked again at some point, so probs for the best he misses against Reading. Reputation wise its not good tho, people will forget soon enough it was a debatable pen and focus on the fact thats 4 (?) yellows for diving.

Good performance, they look very well coached I think.

This was the last game before the yellow cards got re-set so he could have another one or four and not been suspended after today so slightly irritating. Still, it's been a busy run of games so the rest won't do him any harm and we should be able to beat Reading without him.

Well played Spurs, some good football a bit of sloppy at times but we were tough enough in defence to keep them out. Lloris was superb as was Mignolet. Other outstanding players for me were Bale, Lennon, Naughton and Sandro though his passing was dangerous at times. Ade to me had a good game he just needs to get that elusive goal to bring back some confidence.

I think we've mostly been very good all season on the road starting with newcastle away on the first day, we controlled that game and were unlucky. we beat united and looked like a walk in the park against arsenal until Ade went nutz

well done Andre, just need a magician in the team to help our home form

A fantastic win, these are the sort of games we usually traditionally lose or draw. It really is a pleasure
to see this team away from home. Everyone bangs on about Bale but lennon was exceptional today
Hes having his best season imo. COYS :)

No, keep it in the match thread or in the ratings thread when it appears. No need to make a new thread for it.

It was more of a general point, but hey-ho...

Walker has always relied heavily on his pace to cover for his defensive naivity; naighton has far greater nouse in this sense. I'm hoping it won't be long (and assuming BAE returns) that Naughton pushes Walker hard for the RB spot...

Great, gritty performance. Should have been 4-0 again but 2-1 will do. Defoe and Ade are gelling but they both need to be that bit more ruthless. We get so many corners and yet still need an opposition player to score from one ! Sandro just gets better and better at breaking up the opposition. Lloris, Lennon and Bale played excellently. The disappointment for me (again) was Walker. He's such a talent so even now he's okay, but I'd like us to give Naughton a run at right-back with either Vertonghen or (ideally) Benny back at left-back. I think Walker might benefit from a spell on the bench.

First reaction is that we got away with that one.
An own goal out of nothing to put us back on track
and then a great finish by Lennon who was our most dangerous player even before he scored.
When we start playing it around the back four on 56 minutes then I think the tactics are wrong.
Bale and L ennon had the beating of them and we should have continued to press for a third goal.
Adebayor should have scored two.We looked too casual and lethargic
and such a slow build up especially Dembele gives teams the time to organise their defence.
We made it all look a bit desperate when really it wasn't.
Great three points accepted

Got away with it by dominating them the whole game!
