What does everyone reckon ?

Should we give up on Arsenal (having had the desired effect on RVP) and shift our sights to one of our rivals for fourth ? Cisse (Newc) or Di Mateo (Chels) ?

I think we need to get a bit proactive now and be prepared to smurf on a week to week, nay game to game basis.

Chelsea have a home banker against QPR, but Newcastle have a tricky away tie at Wigan. What about we do either Cisse Tonight/tomorrow morning then quickly swap it for Di Mateo then if possible Hoilet in for the for Spurs game.

Then we can plan Wednesday's strategy on monday.

No more of this Redknappesque leave things to chance bullshit, lets get Mourinho on this.

If you overuse it you lose it's power.

It's a curse, not a toy.

Can I reserve it to be used on my mate Matt on tuesday? His new bird's fit. I want her.

Is it possible to smurf both Cisse and Di Matteo and have them in the same picture, or would that lose its power?

If newcastle they win they go level with arsenal and we win both games in hand after tomorrow we potentially go 3points or less behind Arsenal all is not lost just yet

So I say leave RVP as the target

Steve Kean for Sunday. Then Coyle, McLeish (although I think he's already smurfed himself), then Martin Jol. We finish (at least) fourth, then switch it to Di Matteo. Sorted.

While it should certainly be transferred to somebody at Chelski before the CL final, I'm concerned about abusing (and weakening) it in the meantime by frequent switching. I vote we leave it on van Rapist until the end of the PL season to take care of the goons and hope that our players grow a pair to take care of the next four games.

The tiniest part of me still hopes (I daren't say believes) the Goons can still lose to away to Stoke, so if we win all four games remaining, we still have a chance of third.
Besides, that RVP, he's a proper ****, ain't 'e...so, leave it on 'im ;)

I like the 'Arry option, personally.
Or smurf BC's tactical thread as our tactics seem to have been shot since he strarted it -can you even smurf Matt Johnson? Or is that a musical no no?

Have we ever actually attempted a 'multi smurf?' How do we know it will weaken the curse, for all we know we may not be using it to its maximum potential. Smurf a club badge, for example, smurf a jersey, smurf the bloody post code!

Incidentally, anyone else find it ironic that we've actually managed to successfully curse a Pikey?

We have little scientific proof that a manager based curse has ever had a measurable effect. Obviously for players it is proved beyond all reasonable doubt. We also know from May 2010 http://www.spurscommunity.co.uk/index.php?threads/the-stoof-smurf-effect.59675/page-5#post-1811957 that the curse takes exactly 12 hours to begin to work.

I admire the enthusiasm in this thread, but now is not the time for experiments, we must stick within the parameters of what we know definitely works.

It's all futile though - Stoof is probably out there somewhere living the high life, getting his game on and paying scant regard to the power he has been blessed with. We've seen that his head is not in the right place for this, his attitude is wrong and he has become the Pavlyuchenko of SC. Making all the right noises, but not putting in the effort when it counts.

Give up on the Arsescum. Lets focus on Di Matteo, Cisse and as a personal plea - Mark Hughes - completely unrelated, but I hate the #### so much and desperately wish for him to show his managerial prowess by relegating (and subsequently walking away from) QPR
