Why does Kane need resting when he's just been rested for 3 weeks?

I think the real question is whether Kane is 100% over his injury. I don’t really go with this stuff about not being match fit. He was out for 3 weeks not 3 months. His level of output in the 2 games he has played was not as it should have been. He’s either 100% fit or he shouldn’t be playing.

I think it's more of a case of him not being match fit more than anything tbh.

Don't really care what team we put out there as we should beat Brighton anyhow. I think Moura, Sissoko, Wanyama and Son will start this game and wouldn't be overly surprised to see more players rested. COYS

I don't think he's fully over the ankle injury. He's looked sluggish since he came back whereas match fitness is all about speed of thought and reading the game. I'd be tempted to play Eriksen in CM with Dembele/Wanyama, Moura, Alli and Lamela with Son up top.

I'd rest Trippier Dembele and Alli. Rest Kane and Eriksen once jobs done.
We still need to win this.

Really hope Poch rotates and rests as many as possible. The FA cup has to be a priority now.
The United game is going to backlash town on Saturday, just as it was against City last week! Boy did we get unlucky with the fixtures, last thing we needed was City and United in Backlash mode!

Sorry but CL is priority for me. I don't see Chelsea losing any of their games for the rest of the season, bar the possibility of the Liverpool visit, but I would suspect a draw. So we must push to get out of range of Chelsea - Finishing outside the top four is just not an option now we are in this position. We must have it for the new stadium next year and potential signings. ALL of the top 6 will strengthen this summer and we must also! The FA Cup won't help that if we are not in the CL!

Lloris

Aurier Alderweireld Vertonghen Walker-Peters

Wanyama Eriksen

Lucas Alli Son

Kane
Subs: Vorm, Davies, Dier, Sissoko, Dembele, Lamela, Llorente.

I'd have been tempted to rest Alli or Eriksen and bring Lamela in, but I think both will play. We need Eriksen's guile and creativity. Lamela could come in for Kane if he's rested and play as a false 9.

Be nice to see KWP for Davies albeit on the wrong side, but Davies has played a lot of football, and keeps him fresh for Saturday.

Both Aurier and KWP have played LB before but as Aurier has more experience, I'd use him as LB for this game and KWP at his best position at RB. Agree with the rest of your line up.
