Team for West Ham...

West Ham shouldnt be underestimated.
They've been doing a lot of team building excercises of late (go-karting, army camp, hunting, etc) and a few of the player went off to Portugal for a training session last prior to the cup game.
And some of it is starting to show on the pitch.
As some have said, Parker is a main source, but Hitzelsperger is an even greater threat. Obinna playing on the flanks is also quite useful.

And often as a club, one of our biggest downfalls is not showing enough respect to the so called smaller clubs.

I heard it was more like steeling caravans?

Bale isn't fit, I don't know why people are assuming he is when he didn't want to play against Milan. He'll come off the bench as he works his way back towards match fitness. Same for VDV.

Think we might just scrape this one 2-1 but I can easily see it being 2-2.

Maybe not away from home, but I would give them another try at the Lane...

Defoe will score against West Ham, of that I am sure, his streak has started, and he loves scoring against them.

Yeh it has been 10 days since Milan and Dawson said he has been flying in training. I think he will start too.

And it's been heavily surmised that he didn't want to come on against Milan because he didn't think he was fit - there was a massive thread about it after the game.

He's not 100% fit. That's just logical based on a complete lack of any match-time lately. Notice I said 'match fitness' in my post. Not that he's injured.

If you think it, that's fine. I was asking where you got it from. If however though you are basing it on lip reading Alan Hutton and Gareth Bale warming up then your being silly. Bale has said he's feeling good, all the reports have been saying he's feeling back up to speed. No need to be so negative!

Er...they've been banging on all week that he is fit now and cant wait to play. He's had two sub appearances and ten days to train on top of that.
