In the same way you don't play 11 strikers. Chadli will be supporting Soldado and has goals in him as does Lamela but I think out best hope is to score on the counter and that's why I would choose Townsend. If we stick to the same AM3 as last weekend, we will give too much time to Arsenal and they will be well organised and well prepared for what we have to offer.

I would want Stambouli in there and I actually think I would have Chadli over Eriksen at he moment, especially as Chadli has played very well V Arsenal last season and looked like out main goal threat.

Need a strong midfield against 100 attacking midfielders at arsenal. Would like to play Chadli but we need Lamelas creativity. Bentaleb is such a good passing player that set the tempo with Capoue very good. So with both of them and Benji. will Lamela and Lennon focus more 70% 30% off deff.

Say what u like about Lennon, but if he's given instructions to provide width and press high up the pitch he will most likely give you at least that.

Obviously the rest of his game is almost non-existent, but he potentially could help our cause! And he has history with teh NLD, unlike everyone else in our squad

I like Capoue but much like THudd he's not very mobile and arsenal will run rings around him.

Midfield needs to be nice and compact so I'll go with 3 in the middle. Mason's inclusion is just a wish as I don't rate paulinho much at all but that is the type of player we need in this specific position. Slightly more forward thinking than dembele but also with a close eye on his defensive duties. Chadli could do a job there as well but only if we make it pertinent that he remains part of the midfield.

Adebayor is a tough one as he is better on the counter than Soldado but has serious positional discipline issues and throws our formation out the door constantly. Soldado adds something different and I feel his link up play can help send the likes of lamela/Lennon through on the break.

Honestly will drop eriksen as we need 3 hard workers in midfield but equally can't leave rose out to dry. Lennon may be a useful inclusion here with eriksen coming off the bench in the second half.

I fear a heavy defeat and in that anticipation we need to set up accordingly. First time in a few years I really can't see a result for us, but it's football after all.


- btw if our starting CBs are Vlad and Kaboul we may as well forfeit the game.

I think we need to be totally solid for this game and play on the break so I don`t want to hear about Philosphy we cannot out football Arsenal at this point ... I want our defenders to defend not go wondering up the pitch and I want our midfield to protect the defence.. I want to frustrate Arsenal and physically over power them in midfield... I would drop Ade for this game due to the history and give Soldado his chance.

I like this team but would have Chadli in for Lamela as he is more physical and defensively more disciplined...

In this game Lamela and Townsend would be a liability you can maybe play one of them no way can you play both. I would drop them both to the bench for this one.

To have any hope of taking something from this game we're going to have to disrupt Arsenal. You simply have to focus on the opposition more when they're a superior footballing side. Its fine when you're playing lesser opponents to just focus on your own game mostly, but in this instance its imperative that we don't make it easy for Arsenal to pass us into submission - we'll get proper hammered if we do that.

Yes we'll want some threat on the counter but we're going to have to work our nuts off, concentration and focus will be key as we'll have to absorb lots of pressure.

So we'll need a very hard working and disciplined performance. Pick your side on that premise I'd say.

We should definitely play ade as motivation is every thing with him. As has been said there is a chance he will get sent off but it's worth the risk.

Townsend can't play here. He will just continuously shoot wildly. As per ITK he just too thick to follow instructions. We need to get Soldado running on to through balls or on the end of crosses.
