So assuming Toby doesn't make it, worse case scenario etc, will he play Wimmer in a back three or revert to a flat back four with Dier at RCB and Jan at LCB? Which incidentally is better balanced than say Jan being unavailable and Toby partnering Dier.

Big loss.

However I don't think it warrants us changing from 3 CBs as we have performed even worse with our 4231 the season.

Dur to his maneuverability I would bring Wimmer in but put him in the middle, allowing Verts to cover wide and push on forward a little more in possession..

The main question mark for me now is to go for Winks over Dembele...

Toby will be a big loss- everton one of the form teams in the league and will be looking for a big scalp to put them back to put them back in the top 4 mix. I hope we dont oblige them.

i hope we bring in kev wimmer and stick to a back 3.

if Toby was fit, i nearly wouldnt mind seen Jan playing the LB role, he is bombing foward a lot lately, much like his first season with us.

Exactly, that's why I'd put him in the center...so he doesn't have to get dragged to the channels too much.
