Would prefer to start with either Harry or Sonny along with Bale etc and try and snatch a couple of goals then substitute them , instead of what we did in Antwerp .

Jose Mourinho reports that Sergio Reguilon, Erik Lamela and Serge Aurier will miss our UEFA Europa League match against Ludogorets in Bulgaria on Thursday evening (5.55pm).

Speaking in his press conference ahead of flying out for Matchday Three of Group J against the Bulgarian champions, Jose explained: "Reguilon is ill, but not the Covid situation, not at all, just ill.

"We don't want him to be with the team, he could, but he we don't want him to be with the team. That position is one of the positions where we have two great players and two great professionals. Ben Davies is Ben Davies, so no problem with that.

"Lamela has a little problem for quite a few weeks and after the last match we decided it's the moment to stop and have this week plus the two weeks of internationals to give him three weeks to recover fully.

"Aurier has a little problem, nothing important, but a problem he decided with the medical team that he didn't want to risk."

Looks like we start with Davies and Doherty as Full backs, that could bring back the lopsided style.

And Cirkin should be on the bench

So I guess this could be close to it:

--------------------------Lloris------------------------
Doherty----------Alderweireld---Dier-------Davies
----------------Sissoko---------Hojbjerg-----------
-------Bale-------------Lo Celso----------Son------
----------------------------Kane----------------------

Subs: Hart - Cirkin, Tanganga, Sanchez, Winks, Clarke, Lucas, Vinicius, Dele, Ndombele, Bergwijn, White

Lloris

Doherty
Dier
Alderweireld
Davies

Ndombele
Sissoko
GLC

Bale
Son
Lucas

Surely that would be more than strong enough.

Fully expect Aurier to play against West Brom, and Reggie obviously.

Interesting/not interesting: I play a mobile football management game called OSM (any other players here?) and ive just started a Europa League tournament as Spurs.

Of the 48 teams, Spurs’ squad is the most valuable and the highest value per player. Arsenal, Napoli and Roma are the only clubs that run it close.

Royal Antwerp - 23rd
Ludogrets - 31st
LASK - 33rd

Until "Full Power" I half suspected it would be the same team as last week.

I’d play the same team as against Antwerp. Tell them they are lucky to have a chance to make things right and I expect a clean sheet and at least 3 goals.

I think for squad harmony I would like to see Jose start an almost identical side to the one that started against Antwerp! Jose showed his frustration, sent a message that the performance wasn’t good enough and then dropped people from the squad for the Prem match. This is the perfect chance to see if the players have learnt from their mistakes and if they are hungry enough to put it right. If we get a similar performance to Antwerp then there is no coming back for a lot of those players but at least they’ve had to chance to right a wrong and they’d have no one to blame but themselves if they don’t take the chance.

Full Power...

Get the job done by 60-70 mins then take quite a few of them off: Kane, Son, PEH etc.

I wonder if he is bluffing when he said in the presser “full power”.

On one hand why not as we could do with the win in this game and next one so we can secure our qualification early but also for squad morale it would be nice to give the back up guys another chance, especially Vinicius.

We do need our most creative player to start the game, no prizes for guessing who that is.........

Can go strong without risking our irreplaceable players.

I know where you are coming from but im a firm believer that you start with your strongest team and win the game then you can rest a bit... so id play our strongest team, get a 2 or 3-0 lead then rest... otherwise they got to play.

Antwerp game unfortunately messed things up slightly for us... even a point would have been good but Jose needs to instil into the players that this is a serious competition and to do that he needs to play the 11
